HMC folks-This Sunday evening, November 19th at 6:30pm is our Red Oak Community Thanksgiving service. It will be held at Fuego Church here in Red Oak-211 Main St. This is open to everyone in the community. Invite someone to join us.

Prayer & Worship is happening tonight! Join us at 7:00pm as we come together in worship and prayer for our community, missionaries, church, & more.

Don’t forget we also have HMC Kids & DV8 Youth (it’s Speed the Light Night, so tell your students to bring their missions money). See you @7:00pm!

Great Fall Fun Festival last night. Games, food, Bible lesson & prayer, and groceries for the families. Sharing the love of Jesus with everybody. Thanks to everyone that helped make it a wonderful event. God is good all the time!

HMC folks-don't forget to invite somebody to our annual Round Up Day fundraiser auction this Sunday night (October 15th) at 6:00pm. We have all kinds of incredible items from Dallas Symphony Orchestra tickets, gift cards to various restaurants and/or local businesses, James Avery jewelry, and too much more to list-you just have to be there! Great time to pickup some wonderful Christmas gifts and have a fun time. The monies raised will be used for various community kids events and family outreaches so everybody gets blessed! And for all my local Facebook friends this is my invitation to you to come join us. Lots of fun, good stuff, and great cause! See you there!

Adult and Teen Challenge of Dallas will be joining us in the service as our guest speakers. These men are in the process of being set free from addictions and life controlling issues and gaining the true freedom found in Christ! It’s encouraging to hear the testimonies of restoration and forgiveness these guys will be sharing. Make sure to show up and prepare your heart to receive something from God!

Tonight is 1st Wednesday Prayer. See you at 7:00pm!

HMC folks-Thanks to all of you who helped at our Be the Church outreach in the apartments last night. All of the residents that attended were very grateful. It was a great time to eat together, spend time together and share the love of Jesus. God is good all the time!

Thanks to everyone who helped at Red Oak Founders Day today! We were able to share the love of Jesus with those who attended as well as pray for some and invite some to church. Also met some new friends. What a wonderful day!

Hello Church Family,
Many of our area students started school this week! Red Oak ISD starts next week. It’s exciting to see the kids and youth grow and continue to walk in the path God has designed specifically for them!

The churches in Red Oak have been praying over individual school campuses for the past several years. This Sunday evening we have the opportunity to pray over students, teachers, and all workers going back to school. Highland Meadows has been assigned Red Oak Elementary school located at 200 Valley Ridge Drive. You don’t have to have a student attending school to come pray! We are blessed to have a school district that believes in the power of prayer, so let’s show up and show our support for our community! If you are able to join us in prayer over the campus, please be there at 6:00pm.

We’ll see you this Sunday morning at 10:30am for service. Have a great weekend!

HMC Kids Sidewalk Ministry went out to give out school bags and popsicles to the kids in the apartments last night. Since it was about 101 degrees outside we let everyone just come & go. Quite a few kids & parents stayed & we were able to spend some time with them. Thanks to Pastor Austin Slusher & Shállen Slusher as well as the Tisdale’s for sharing the love of Jesus with everyone that came. Also got to pray over the kids as they get ready to go to school.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30am!! We'll have prayer for all kids, students, and teachers. What a great day to worship together as a church family and to cover others in prayer.
