Sweet Asher was activated today!!

Thank you to Brenda Aviles for our annual cooking meeting for the DHF Teen Squad! The group learned how to make pinwheels finger sandwiches and STEM style ice cream. They had to use those muscles to shake up that ice cream!!!

We love updates from our DHF family. What a beautiful Christmas present to see sweet Asher recognize his name! Implanted and activated before his first birthday in November he is already doing great responding to his name and trying to repeat what is said to him.

DHF Manager Jennifer Clark and DHF volunteer Erin Collins were honored to be asked to attend Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson’s press conference today. Working at inclusion FOR all citizens and the proposal of a Commission On Disabilities for the City of Dallas.

Thank you hometown girl Maelyn Jarmon, winner of The Voice, for your donation to DHF with your appearance at the FC Dallas game tonight! We love you!!!

Maurice was activated today! Lost his hearing when he was 12 years old. Awesome!!!!

Mauricio Birthday
If you recall, sweet Mauricio was activated recently. Being able to hear your family sing happy birthday you....PRICELESS!!!!!

You know, when you are sitting on your dad's lap, playing, and THEN, YOU CAN HEAR!!! Yay for sweet Josseline on her activation yesterday!!!

Myles was activated today! For a four year old, that can be overwhelming, but playing with Mr. Potato Head and fun glasses with nose help make make it more fun. Of course Paw Patrol also helps! Watch Myles playing and then his reaction to sound in his ear!!! Oh the places you’ll go Myles!!!!
