Hi everyone! We have good news to share this week at China Bowl. As some of you may know we were not opening on sundays due to the shortage of staff. As of this week, we are officially opening on Sundays to normal business hours. Please come and see us starting this Sunday, June 12 from 11 am - 10 pm.

Hi Everyone -

Sorry for the late notice and confusing business hours for the past week. We have been trying to manage opening every day with a very limited staff. We are working hard to stay open every day and meet current demand. For the upcoming weeks we may continue to change our business hours depending on the store’s circumstances. Our staff are working very hard to be able to stay open every day.

For Monday, April 11, we will need to shut our doors for the day due to food shortages from this weekend. We will be open again on Tuesday, April 12. Apologies for the short notice!

Due to staffing issues, we will need to adjust our business hours starting Tuesday, April 5, 2022 to be from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. We will close our stores from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Thank you everyone for your support and for waiting in the very long lines today! We also want to apologize for any inconveniences you may have had to deal with today as we work through some minor bumps to get the store back to normal operation. Today was a blessing for the entire staff at China Bowl as we had the opportunity to see a lot of you back again and saw how much everyone loved the food. We would like to thank everyone as well for your kind words, support, and positive attitudes with the staff at the counter. We appreciate the time you spent today with us and hope to continue to serve you.

Due to overwhelming demand today at the store, we will need to shut the restaurant down on Sunday to prepare for the upcoming week and because we ran out of food supply for tomorrow. Again, we could not have done this without our supporters and we sincerely thank you for coming by today to see us in person. Please visit us starting on Monday during normal operating hours.

Wow! Thank you all for coming back to dine with us, but due to the overwhelming amount of customers we will have to limit dine in orders and only take drive thru.

Just for perspective, we had orders backed up for about a hour and half! We want everyone’s first experience back to be pleasant. Please be patient with us during this time and Mama Chen can’t wait to see everyone’s familiar faces.

Dine-in is still being worked on as we wait for our tables and booths to come in.

We have big and exciting news to share with you now! We will be officially opening our doors to the public for service starting Saturday at 10:30 am. Our business hours are the same as before our closing (Monday - Sunday 10:30 AM - 10:00 PM).

Hi Everyone!

Apologies for the further delays in our reopening date! We were hoping to be back open sometime in the middle to end of February. Unfortunately, we have had delays due to inspections that are required by the City of Dallas in order to open back for business. We are close to the reopening date and have a few more inspections left. We are looking to open closer to the end of March 2022. Thank you for your continued patience and support as we near the finish line.

Please note that Google is currently showing us as "open" but to clarify we are currently not open for business.

Hi Everyone -

We know everyone’s anxious for us to reopen and so are we. Thank you all for calling and asking for updates!

Unfortunately we’ve been dealing with delays and issues with construction materials and labor which further delays our projected opening date. We apologize for the inconveniences and hope to open soon.

Currently we are projecting a mid February opening date but will provide weekly updates as we are hopefully getting close to the finish line.

Delays, delays, delays. It’s going to be a couple more weeks before we open.

Holiday Update:

Our new projected opening will be mid-January, around the 2nd week. We will provide more updates as we get closer and work through these delays.

Construction/renovations are projected to be finished after Christmas, but before the New Year. We will continue to update everyone and post about the grand opening when it is visibly is sight.

Apologies for the delayed news on our date of re-opening. We have encountered numerous setbacks and delays throughout the construction of the restaurant but we are finally moving towards re-opening. Our current plan is to be back open sometime towards the end of October. We are looking forward to welcoming everyone back into the store and seeing your faces! We will post later if we have any further developments. We appreciate your patience and looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

Hello Everyone! I am sure many of you have been curious on the status of China Bowl Express if you have seen the empty store or the fact that no one has picked up the phone. We would like to apologize for the delayed announcement of the situation occurring thus far at the restaurant.

China Bowl Express unfortunately had a fire incident at the store in the early morning hours at the end of September. Since that day, the restaurant has been inoperable and will continue to be for the next 6 months to a year while we remodel the store.

We understand this inconvenience to our long time customers and we really appreciate all the kind words and thoughts that we have received in the past month. We are deeply saddened that we are unable to service our customers at this time and in the near future.

As we progress through the remainder of this year, we will continue to provide updates on the progress of the remodeling and when we plan on opening the restaurant again to the public. We hope that everyone will continue to support our small business and wait for our return with a much better food and service experience.

We are excited for the future and look forward to returning with a an updated restaurant for us to continue to provide the best Chinese fast food and service to all our customers.

As of 3/17/2020 12:00 AM due to the new rules in regards of safety for our customers, China Bowl starting tomorrow can only serve through drive through and take out. Dine-In will be closed for the time being til the restrictions are lifted.

It is recommended that you call ahead before pick up to speed the process up!
