Festival/Post-festival season is over. In transitioning to a new season, we would like to share these inspiring images of Kadam Dharma practitioners volunteering during Summer Festival and post-retreats.
All actions that benefit our centers and temples for world peace have the potential to bring benefit to all living beings. Since this is the intention that gave rise to them.
May the wheel of Dharma keep shinning forevermore!
And may our centers and temples enjoy a most beautiful season!
CHANGE YOUR MIND, CHANGE YOUR WORLD

When we hear about problems in the world, it is natural for us to wish for world peace, but world peace will never be achieved unless we first establish peace within our own minds. Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible.
How do we achieve this inner peace? Happiness and suffering are states of mind, so their main causes cannot be found outside the mind. It is only by controlling our mind, in particular our anger and attachments, that we can truly experience deep inner peace.
Once we create peace within our own mind and help others do the same, we can hope to achieve peace in this world.

All the time, our day-to-day needs are provided through the kindness of others.
We brought nothing with us from our former life, yet, as soon as we were born, we were given a home, food, clothes, and everything we needed – all provided through the kindness of others.
