2024 Dallas Art Fair | April 4-7
In Anna Kunz’s paintings, tessellating, seeping bodies of color mingle and levitate, resulting in lifted, sometimes dissonant, harmonies, often landing in surprising resolutions. These relationships and reactions occur simultaneously, like an entire improvisational jazz arrangement played as the receiver encounters each pitch and chord of color. Unexpected notes of form provide a site of, in the artist’s words, “shared sensory experiences and the temporary disruption of social and material boundaries.”

Book signing with Jeannette Montgomery Barron today at 1 PM!
Stop by James Barron Art ( , booth F24, to hear about CONTACT-Cindy Sherman by Jeannette Montgomery Barron.
“From Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring, to Robert Mapplethorpe, Jenny Holzer and William S Burroughs, Barron crafted a quiet, meditative series of personalities that usually presented as larger than life – perhaps none so conscientiously as Cindy Sherman." - Miss Rosen
“CONTACT contains 40 portraits of Cindy Sherman and 4 contact sheets shot October 31st, Halloween in Cindy Sherman’s studio, New York City. For the first time we see Cindy Sherman as …Cindy Sherman.” -Diane Pernet
Painter and ceramicist, Hana Ward, is inspired by color and the feelings associated with certain colors. Today is the last day to see her work on view at OCHI, booth B8!
“Appearing both ethereal and altogether visceral, Ward’s Black feminine figures possess a presence that is ambiguously compelling—wise with the knowledges of lived experience and ancestral inheritance, these protagonists reflect and dream.
Ward presents these infinite nuanced visions of unfolding self-actualization sometimes sheltered in the solitude of domestic space and other times liberated into landscapes.”
