Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital is proud to announce this year’s Mercy Award winner from our hospital: Arlene Tovar-Williams, Director of Business Development. A nurse by background, she consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty in serving our patients, co-workers, and community. From the words of our CEO, Shari Moore, who has had the privilege of working with her for the past 15 years, “she makes me and everyone around her a better person…she is one of the most enthusiastic and compassionate people I have ever met, and I am proud to call her my friend and colleague.” Arlene is always the first to volunteer, whether it be supporting an employee engagement event or driving to deliver as part of the Meals on Wheels program. At Christmas, she, her daughter, and their friends made gift baskets for all our patients who could not make it home for the holidays. She also lives in this community and has been a tireless advocate. Thank you for your continued support of and dedication to Our Core Values, Arlene!
