Proud of my research team and Dr Chung for presenting our groundbreaking work on COVID-19 vaccination at the international symposium on BCG, alongside the giants of vaccination research at the Auditoire de l’Institut de Biologie de Lille of the prestigious Pasteur Institute of Lille in France today. In our pilot study we have shown for the first time that a booster BCG which is close to 100 years old can protect against COVID-19 infection, and potentially other respiratory illnesses to decrease worldwide mortality of both children and adults. It was great to work with my father and his team on this project.
