What is an IPL?

Intense pulsed light (IPL) also known as photo facial, is a way to improve the color and texture of your skin without surgery. It can undo some of the visible damage caused by sun exposure -- called photoaging. Most damage is noticeable on your face, neck, hands, or chest. Blue light from your electronics like laptops, desktops, cell phones and iPads are causing brown spots and premature aging. Grab an IPL and turn back time !

What is Laser Genesis?

Laser genesis works by heating the dermis directly under the skin; this stimulates collagen production, which plumps the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The heat from the laser can also constrict blood vessels, which helps fight redness and rosacea. It can also help treat acne and scarring.

What’s the difference between IPL
And Laser Genesis?

IPL is used to treat red spots associated with the sun, aging, acne, and rosacea whereas Laser Genesis will treat acne scarring, uneven pores, lines and wrinkles, and redness.
Many of our clients buy 3 IPL sessions and 1-2 Laser Genesis.

You don't have to do much special preparation before laser genesis.

Do not go tanning in the two weeks prior to your appointment and come to your appointment without makeup on and with clean, dry skin.

Pretreatment for IPL:

❤️Use a moisturizer with 30+ SPF to protect your skin from sun exposure

❤️Avoid smoking at least six weeks before IPL

❤️Stop any medications that may cause excess bleeding

❤️Discontinue antibiotics (if advised by your general physician)

❤️Avoid retinoids that cause skin sensitivity

❤️Drink water before and after your treatment

❤️Try your best to avoid sun exposure!
