This past weekend, GPISD and the Grand Prairie Police Department’s UNIDOS program partnered together to giveaway 10,000 backpacks for the upcoming school year. A huge thank you to all of the volunteers that made this a success. It's going to be a great school year!

Come join us on Saturday, August 31st at 8AM to take a FREE Practice Test for our upcoming Civil Service Exam in September. Anyone is welcome to come and take the practice test. It will be held at the Grand Prairie Public Safety Building located at 1525 Arkansas Ln, Grand Prairie, TX, 75052.

Staff will be present to answer any questions about the upcoming test in September. This practice test will be great practice for you to get a sense of familiarity of the type of testing required to be a Police Officer.

We had the opportunity to mentor and coach 300 Grand Prairie youth at our Annual Sports Camp. While sports are the foundation of this camp, building relationships and making new friends was our main focus. Thank you to the San Francisco Unicorns cricket team for coming out and teaching our campers how to play cricket! We can't wait until next year!!🏈⚽️🏀🏏
