Our plant highlight this week is the Janie Marigold!

Marigolds will bring a bright wash of color to your beds reminiscent of sunshine! This on theme orange and yellow fall flower boast a fragrant 3 inch bloom until the first frost and can tolerate partial to full sun. They are drought tolerant and will attract pollinators (butterflies and bees) and even nature's pest control, ladybugs. The size of these fall staples are perfect for planters and bordering your beds being a modest 8 to 12 inches tall and around 8 inches wide.

Our plant highlight this week is Assorted Ornamental cabbage and kale!

Ornamental cabbage and kale is a staple to any fall landscape. They are great in size standing between 1 to 2 feet tall and with the cabbage being around 1 foot wide and kale being around 2 foot wide. A perfect backdrop for any fall annual or addition to any planter. The foliage will brighten and have a more intense coloring when the temperature drops below 50 degrees, and can survive down to 5 degrees. They can withstand full to partial sun.

Our plant highlight this week is Silver Dust Dusty Miller!
Dusty Miller is renowned for its silver frosty looking foliage. This annual is a perfect pairing with any seasonal color, with its striking appearance in your bed or planter. They are a standard foliage growing only 12 to 14 inches tall and around 8 inches wide and can tolerate both shade and full sun. It would be a nice backdrop to your creeping flowers or border to any taller plants, such as cabbage or kale.

Our plant highlight this week is the Petunia!

Petunias thrive in at least 6 to 8 hours of sun! They are a cool climate tolerant plant and will survive until the first frost. These prolific bloomers will attract hummingbirds and butterflies into your garden, truly making it an Eden. The size is not too overbearing with a height of only 4 to 6 inches and a spread of about 3 foot wide. They will surely make a statement as a border or a great cluster of color throughout your bed.
