New Jackie Robinson statue ready to stand at McAdams Park It’s been six months since the Jackie Robinson statue was snatched from McAdams Park, but just over a week from Friday, a new one will stand in Wichita.

We were able to correct graffiti damage, which can be very problematic with corten steel, prior to Shadow Lines’ dedication ceremony.

Honored to contribute to this award-winning project.

🚨We are thrilled to announce that the Collaboration of Design + Art Awards (CODAawards) jury has selected Shadow Lines, Memorial for the Victims of Racial Violence, as one of the Top 100 most successful projects integrating commissioned art into interior, architectural, or public spaces! 📢

Shadow Lines weaves together shadow, light, time, and memory, featuring a semicircular wall of weathering steel on a circular concrete plaza. This serene space invites personal reflection, intergenerational conversation, and public commemoration.

Today as we celebrate Juneteenth, together we are reminded of the promise of America, a promise of freedom, liberty and opportunity, not for some but for all.

In many ways the story of Juneteenth and of our nation is a story of our ongoing fight to realize that promise.

Iguana sculpture covered in bright mosaic tiles and Mexican tile design, the colors are blues, greens with gold and orange accents created by the use of the colored tiles. This playful lizard will contain a seating area for the convenience of the park visitors.
