Today, our seniors were prayed over by faculty and staff, as they prepared to begin their year of senior service. We pray that each young man will shine as a true light to the world in his commitment to be a Man for Others.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, colleague, teacher, coach, mentor, and friend. We celebrate the wonderful life and legacy of Jack Fitzsimmons ’76, who lived out his days espousing the ideals of his Jesuit formation and will be remembered as a true Man for Others. Rest in peace, Coach Fitz.

Students, faculty, and staff celebrated the Mass of the Holy Spirit, a tradition dating back to the sixteenth century. This annual event unites Jesuit schools worldwide in prayer, seeking God’s guidance and wisdom for the academic year. We are grateful for this opportunity to reflect and pray on the upcoming school year.
We are excited to welcome our students back to campus, ready to embark on a journey of learning, growth, and excellence. Here’s to a year filled with achievements, camaraderie, and the pursuit of knowledge!
Class of 2028, welcome to the brotherhood. 🤝
The new Jesuit High School first opened its doors in an undeveloped part of “far north” Dallas on Aug. 1, 1963. Sixty-one years later, we have broken ground on the future of Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas.

Congratulations to seniors Leo Hernandez and Neel Manne, who recently completed an intensive eight-week medical research program at UT Southwestern Medical Center alongside UTSW’s faculty. The students presented their research to the public and a few Jesuit faculty members on the UTSW campus.
For decades, Dr. Mark Knize has challenged Jesuit’s high-achieving students to discern how they are called to use their talents for the greater glory of God. And he’s inspired every day by how they respond to the call. Read the full article: https://www.jesuitscentralsouthern.org/stories/mark-knize-forming-young-men-for-others/
“It’s infectious, being a part of something greater than yourself, trying to build brotherhood and community, all under the umbrella of this greater call to serve God.” - Mark Knize, Director of Student Life and Counseling

We were proud to welcome so many wonderful friends to campus for a day of adaptive field games and fun. It was appropriate and inspiring to watch our seniors spend their last official day as Jesuit students leading the annual Special Games, as they continue in their formation as Men for Others. We deeply appreciate the continued support of our community partners for contributing to this unforgettable day of friendship!
The National Marrow Donor Program is back on campus! Seniors were invited to become potential stem cell donors and embrace the chance of being a lifeline to someone in need. 🌟 💙
Farewell to the Class of 2024! 🎓 🌟 As our seniors prepare to embark on new adventures, we celebrate their achievements, friendships, and memories.
From a tremendous season-opening performance by our first-year debaters at the Coppell Invitational to a top 10 finish at the NDCA National Championships, members of Jesuit Dallas Debate traveled the country making wonderful memories while competing against the best teams in America. Congrats to all-state honorees Caden Cutchell, Kyle Ma, Luke Lastelick and Peter Loh and to the entire Jesuit program for extending its Texas-record 25-year streak of at least one team in the top 20 at the state championships. Current students and alumni wrapped up the year celebrating the accomplishments of the team and our co-director, Dan Lingel’s 30th year coaching. What a season!
