This year Grandma's Quilt Club features twelve of America's most popular national parks. Join us each month as we discover the wonders of these parks. You'll receive a quilt block in the color of your choice, plus a booklet about the park, chances to win door prizes, an opportunity to be with friends, and lots of laughter. Think about joining us! First Thursday, Friday and Saturday of each month starting September 5/6/7, 2024.
This is the most adorable collectible box we've seen in a long time. This would make a great gift for a Mom. If you're a quilter, you could make the quilt that is part of this collection and then present it to her in the box with the Peter Rabbit book. If she's a quilter and wants to do her own thing, you could just give her the box as is! We love it!!!
Fruit and Veggie Pup Dishtowels! In this seven month club you receive the iron-on transfer, the fabric, dishtowel, and floss to create a fun dishtowel featuring puppies, veggies and fruit. Who can resist?
Becky has been at it again! She's re-imagined the Overall Boys with a Blue Background. Each of the 12 boys are created from traditional patterns using Lori Holt fabrics by Riley Blake. Each block in this program comes with all the fabric, pattern, floss and fusible web you need to create a 12" quilt block. https://grandmasatticquilting.com/collections/block-of-the-month-1/products/overall-boys-in-blue
Check out our Row by Row Experience quilt strip! It's part of a nationwide shop hop, with no fees, no passports and all summer to play. Visit any of the participating shops, including ours, and receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt; then create a quilt using at least 8 different rows and be the first to bring it into a participating shop to win a stack of 15 fat quarters (3.75 yards of fabric!). Use that shop’s row in your quilt and win a bonus prize! More details are available at Grandma's Attic. This is really fun!
Grandma's Newest Challenge is The Color of Change. It benefits our local domestic violence shelter and you could win a $100 gift certificate or other fabulous prizes. Ten more days till the Shop Hop Starts! Today we are going to brag about Grandma's Attic.
Rachel, the owner, named the shop after HER Grandmother, but to her delight, she is also now a grandma herself. And we bet she is just as cool of one as her grandma was!
The store is known for their stellar block of the month Clubs. Rachel has a deep love of history, that shines through with all her classes and clubs.
The store features a wide variety of fabrics and showcases different needle work techniques. There is Something for everyone!
Plan to spend a little extra time at Grandma’s Attic during the hop, and enjoy everything they have to offer.
Our most popular pattern this week--Fruit and Veggie Potholders. It comes with the pattern to make colorful potholders, plus 16 different 5" squares of Fruit and Veggie fabric. So much fun!

As you can see, the snow, which we were not supposed to get, is starting to pile up so we are going to close the shop for the day. Fortunately, it's not Quilt Club weekend. Stay safe and warm inside!
Well, that was different. Our third Quilt Club for the month was just beginning last Saturday when the power went out and stayed out until 5:00 pm that evening. We held club in the dark and did the best we could.

Grandma's Attic will be closed today and probably tomorrow (ice storm expected). As you can see from the pictures, although we did not get a lot of snow at our house, we are completely snowed in from issues with ice. We will try to be open on Wednesday at 10:00 am. In the mean time, please stay safe!
