However, on today November 10, 2023, we also want to take a moment to celebrate 248 years of the world's finest and fiercest fighting force, The United States Marine Corps. The adherence of excellence and Esprit de Corps lives on in every Marine till the day they are laid to rest. It is an absolute honor to be a member of this brotherhood and to employ veterans who continue to uphold the values of service instilled in them, as they help grow and prosper our professional standards of excellence we hold dear at Marshal Protective Services.

September 11, 2001 marked an awful tragedy for this Nation but it also united us together in a way that we have long forgotten. In a world filled with division we not only remember the horrific events of 9/11 but remember the pride and patriotism of 9/12 and what this great country can be again!

Please join Marshal Protective Services as we remember the lives lost in the most senseless and violent attack on American soil, and the families whose lives were shaped and changed forever. As we remember the heroic first responders who perished in the days, weeks, and years following the collapse of the towers. As we remember the two decades of warfare that changed everyones live in one way or another. As we remember the heroic service members who gave everything for this great Nation and those who made it home but never came back. As we remember the Veterans who lost their fight to su***de and those continuing to struggle, you are not alone. We as a Nation will never forget the sacrifices made.

As a Veteran ran company we want to remind everyone the true meaning of Memorial Day. It is not a day of free meals and BBQ’s, it’s not a three day weekend, and it’s not even a time to thank all the Veterans you know. Today is the day we mourn and honor our brave men and women who paid the ultimate price for the freedoms we enjoy. Today is the day we take a moment of silence and quiet contemplation for the sacrifices so many have made to ensure the freedoms we all can take for granted at times.

Today we remember the brave heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms, and in doing so may we also celebrate the life they lived and the courage they displayed. Now more than ever we need more men and women with courage to stand up and do what’s right. Not what’s popular, not what’s common place, but what is just and virtuous despite external pressures.

Marshal Protective Services stands with all of our service members and first responders who sacrifice so much and stand up with courage against tyranny. Today we remember their sacrifices and celebrate their bravery.

These heroes and their fellow officers answered the call to serve today as they rushed into the gunfire without any thought to their personal safety. Thanks to the decisive action of these officers who knows how many lives were saved. Thank you for your dedication and bravery and our hearts mourn with the families of the victims from this tragedy.

Marshal Protective Services is proud of the reputation for professional and dedicated officers that it has cultivated. A reputation that wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and support of all of our officers. Today we want to take the time to recognize those officers who have stood by and helped shape MPS through their own experiences and their long standing service. Marshal Protective Services has nothing but respect for those who serve no matter the capacity or field, but today on the 247th birthday of the United States Marine Corps we want to honor our prior service Marine’s! It’s an honor to employ military and law enforcement veterans who continue to uphold the values of service instilled in them, as they help grow and prosper our professional standards of excellence we hold dear. Many of us have forgotten the horrific events that unfolded that day in 2001, but for those of us who have served and those who lost so many loved ones we can never forget the sacrifices made. 2,997 lives were lost due to 9/11 and another 7,027 in the global war on terror. These numbers do not include those who were injured physically and emotionally since that day and those who continue to serve in and out of uniform. We owe it to all of them to always remember their sacrifices and we owe it to all of them to also remember the pride and unity this country felt September 12, 2001. On that day the divides and battles this country faces didn’t exist, we all came together to show the world our strength. We hope that people remember how a nation came together in the midst of tragedy and remember that’s possible.

Security is so much more than enforcement and deterrent; community outreach is a major part of what we do at Marshal Protective Services. Here we have Officers Tyr Holland and Chung working with our clients, Dallas Police Department, and Hippy USA (Home Instruction for Parents of Pre-School Youngsters) to bridge the gap and bring assistance to their local communities. Great work guys!

Marshal Protective Services wants to wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July with friends and family. Celebrate, remember, enjoy, but do so responsibly.

We are seeking to assist motivated people to enter the field of private security. If you are able bodied and serious about wanting to pursue a career in security/law enforcement, here's your chance to get paid while you train. We will pay for your state mandated classes, your application and license fee, and field training conducted by our highly qualified supervisors. Once your formal training is completed, we will provide you with uniforms at no charge.

You will learn about the rules that regulate security operations; state laws and city ordinances regarding residential and commercial properties; handgun and safety training; techniques for de-escalation of conflict; radio use; report writing, and more.

Upon completion of training you will be given a full-time assignment with our company securing residential and/or commercial properties in the DFW area.

What about pay? During your state training you will receive $15.00 per hour. Upon completion of your state training and when you receive your commission from the state, you will receive a raise to $16.00 per hour. Upon completion of your 90 day field training you will receive a comprehensive review of your performance and another raise commensurate with your progress. Our full-time commissioned officers earn $17-$18 per hour depending on pay grade.

To qualify for this program you must be available to work nights and weekends, have no criminal record, possess a drivers license with a nearly clean driving record, be drug free, and be at least 21 years old. You must be able to lift at least 40 pounds from the floor, and you must be able to stand and walk for a full shift. You will be required to fulfill a minimum of 6 months of employment otherwise the cost of training will be deducted from your final check.

Merry Christmas from the MPS Team. We hope everyone is having a safe and wonderful holiday with friends and loved ones and our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone struggling for the holidays.

We are saddened at the loss of Mesquite Police Officer Richard Houston who succumbed to his injuries. We cannot imagine the difficulties his family and department are going through with this loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and Mesquite Police Department.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mesquite Police Department. An officer is in the hospital after being shot by a suspect. Please pray for this officer and the police department.

Marshal Protective Services wants to wish everyone and their loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving!! Though the numerous hardships in the world may we all take time to remember everything we have to be thankful for. And as we sit and fill our bellies may we remember all those empty chairs tonight as our Military and first responders stand watch for us tonight.
