With the much needed sunshine comes a new seasonal blend! The Winnetka Heights Blend is a brighter offering we’re loving as both drip coffee and as an espresso. Comprised of a washed Nicaraguan coffee from Don Francisco, and two washed Ethiopian coffees from Sulladjah and Biftu Gudina, we think you’ll love the notes of Lemon, Apricot and Almond. It’s available now for online orders and on shelves soon!

Our roasters, Zach and Dylan, are seriously (first picture) excited (second picture) about the release of two Geisha coffees from Las Alasitas in Bolivia. We are releasing the Natural Processed and Washed Processed coffees side by side to demonstrate what processing can do to a phenomenal coffee varietal. If you purchase both as a Twin Pack, you’ll receive HALF-OFF one of the coffees ($16 savings!).

Due to limited quantities, these coffees will only be available as a pre-order before the Christmas Holiday. We will be roasting for shipping only on December 17th and that can be ordered online. For our December 20th roast, you can order or by calling (214-929-6752). This roast will only be available as a pick-up at our location. Both individual coffees and the Twin Pack are live for pre-order on our website!

We’re packing our usual three roasting days into two! Be sure to place your online order by 6am tomorrow (Tuesday) morning to have fresh coffee roasted and shipped out this week! Over the years, we’ve had the chance to try really unique coffees ourselves, but haven’t offered them because they were very small lots or even grown with experimental techniques. Starting this week, we are releasing our new line of small-batch offerings, called “Aficionar,” to highlight these special coffees.

Our first coffee (Aficionar No. 001) is a Colombian Geisha varietal from Pitalito, Colombia. Thanks to our buying partner, Steven Diaz, we were introduced to this coffee and had an opportunity to purchase a small amount. This is such an exciting coffee to launch Aficionar coffees – we can’t wait for you to try it.
