I absolutely love the camaraderie among our agents and everyone’s willingness to help each other out! It begins with our fearless leader, Kim Dean, who always leads by example and whose energy and positive vibes are so contagious!

⭐️ What is your funniest or best real estate story?

Every client/family I help is special to me because each has their own set of struggles or challenges to overcome which make them unique. My best real estate story is still in the works, as I haven’t helped even 5% of the people I was placed on earth to help!

⭐️ If you met someone who just moved to Texas, what would you tell them is the best thing about living here? And the worst?

The worst thing is the summer heat. The best thing is you’ll always find something to do whether it’s family activities, free activities, or fun outings. There’s never a dull moment in Texas!

⭐️ You win the lottery tomorrow…what’s the first frivolous item you purchase?

A Porsche 911 Carrera Turbo S 😂 and a few other totally unnecessary things! Then my analytical side would kick in, and I’d make a bunch of returns and think of smarter more worthwhile investments.

⭐️ What is something that everyone seems to love and that you don’t love at all?

Call me crazy or antiquated but tanning is not my thing. Summer rolls around and people just want to tan. 🤷‍♀️ All I’m thinking about is the increased risk of skin cancer. 😬 I’m quite alright with my pale, light complexion. 😉

I love the camaraderie of our group and how our core is so solid, despite the changes we have been through over the past year. I appreciate everyone on our team and know that I can count on them for great support.

⭐️ What is your funniest or best real estate story?

Oh my gosh. I don’t even know where to start with the stories, most of which are from my earlier property management days. 😂 I think the craziest recent situation was walking into a home I was showing to a young couple and there was 2 inches of water on the floor from a water heater that had burst. They continued to tour the house while I was busy trying to find the water cutoff and calling the listing agent. No, they didn’t buy that one.

⭐️ If you met someone who just moved to Texas, what would you tell them is the best thing about living here? And the worst?

Good stuff: No state income tax!! 😂 Friendly people that still have pride in their State and Country! If I had to pick a negative thing, it would be driving for HOURS and still being in Texas.

⭐️ You win the lottery tomorrow….what’s the first frivolous item you are buying?

A tiny house on the water, a big boat, and Captain Lee! 😜

⭐️ What is something that everyone seems to love, but you don’t love at all?

Pumpkin spice anything!! 🤮

⭐️ What do you love most about STX?

This is hands down the easiest question you could ask... it’s that we’re family. We don’t look at each other as competition with cutthroat eyes. We truly look at each other as a family. There is such a grace & love that everyone has for this business & to help one another succeed! Is someone doing something that you don’t know how to do? Ask & they’ll sit down & teach you how to do it. Is there something that one agent is doing that is helping them kill it in the game? Ask & they tell you all their secrets! In fact, you may not even need to ask... they might be on one of our regular Monday calls to teach you how to do what they’re doing. It’s really amazing. We freely share the ideas & strategies that are best working for us. It’s a true feeling of support & that’s really beautiful.

⭐️ If you met someone who just moved to Texas, what would you tell them is the best & worst thing about living here?

Worst thing, hands down, is the heat. I could just skip summers & go straight back into sweater weather. The best? Queso!! It might seem like such a small thing, but you cannot get queso anywhere else in the world like it is here & if you can, it’s few & far between! And this gal LOVES chips & queso.

⭐️ What is the first frivolous thing you are purchasing if you won the lotto?

I love that this question says “FIRST” frivolous thing, because if you know anything about me, there will end up being a LOT of frivolous purchases.. lol! It would probably end up being some ridiculously expensive shoes. Or a custom tailored gown for a photoshoot. I am a sucker for cute shoes, nice clothes, & great pictures.

⭐️ What is something that everyone seems to love & that you don’t love at all?

Sports! I’ve just never been one to watch or go to sporting events. Maybe the joy of football was sucked out of me between all the games I had to attend being a cheerleader or as part of the drumline in school, but yeah, I’ll pass. Let’s go watch a movie instead!

The culture, and family feel we continue to have within our group. ❤️

⭐️ What is your funniest or best real estate story?

There’s a couple! But one that stands out above the rest is…. I was dealing with a seller who was, well, let’s just say he didn’t have his priorities straight! So as we’re approaching our closing date I keep asking him how packing up his home was coming along. “Oh, it’s good! Only a little left to go”. So I’m feeling confident that everything will be done by the time we close. While I’m at the closing table, I get a call from the buyers agent doing their final walkthrough, and he basically asked me what the hell is going on? My client hadn’t really started packing ANYTHING! So I scramble with my team and we find movers last minute that were able to come to the home that same day and get everything out of the home! Not my most fun experience, but definitely one for the books!

⭐️ If you met someone who just moved to Texas, what would you tell them is the best thing about living here? And the worst?

The best has got to be the food! Love you KC and Carolina, but Texas BBQ is where it’s at! Oh, and the State Fair of Texas! The worst would be the heat, but you get used to it after a while (hopefully).

⭐️ What is something that everyone seems to love, but you don’t love at all?

I’m not the biggest fan of heights, and for that reason I despise roller coasters!

🌟 What is one of your favorite Texas attractions/city/areas/destination?

My favorite place in Texas is hands down the Texas Hill Country. I frequent Fredericksburg and surrounding towns where I like to check out local wineries, live music, fun restaurants and great hiking! 

🌟 What is your bucket list travel destination?

I have always wanted to go to Italy and sail along the Amalfi Coast. I am really hoping to go in the next few years!

I love Texas for its abundance of land and opportunities and I don’t necessarily care for the heat.

🌟 You win the lottery tomorrow...what is the first frivolous thing you are purchasing?

After I win the lottery I will buy myself a pearl white fully loaded Cadillac Escalade.
