In honor of Black History Month, we are celebrating the achievements and contributions of Black Americans, as well as recognizing the historical and present-day injustices that Black Americans face. AMN Healthcare is committed to the journey toward equality for all and we look to drive this impact through our DEEI (Diversity, Equity, Equality, and Inclusion) workstreams and constant support of our AMN team members.

We will be sharing the achievements of Black Americans throughout the month to celebrate their contributions that have led our country to greatness.

As part of the celebration of Black History Month, two of our Employee Resource Groups, SLIDE (Strength Lies in Diversity and Equality) and LALA (Latin American Legacy Alliance) have collaborated to host a virtual panel discussion about Afro-Latino experiences to a company-wide audience. What act of kindness have you performed today?

Healthcare systems are overwhelmed with patients and healthcare professionals are doing their best to keep up with the demand. Healthcare professionals are human; they also contract COVID-19 and need to isolate. Be the patient who doesn’t express their agitation, but the one who provides encouragement.
