GVA/Georgia V**e Alliance has done what it can do, it is now in your hands. We explained the pitfalls of this legislation and you sent emails. Your emails got their attention. The last meeting we went to it was mentioned that you broke the email system, whether in jest or not, it was mentioned.

They are offering a substitute bill from what was passed in the house and it goes back to the original language. This bill will without a doubt kill the va**ng industry in Georgia. We are told this vote will be close and can go either way. YOU have the opportunity to make the difference.

Hi, my name is NAME and I live in CITY, Georgia.
I ask that you either oppose HB1260, or remove FDA language and we will support it.
The cost of 1,000.00 per product will make it impossible for many manufacturers to register their products in Georgia. This anti-competitive pricing would restrict small business from registering in the state of Georgia, and limit consumers product options. Other states with similar laws have a per manufacturer registration fee of 2,000.00, not 1,000.00 per product and without product on our shelves, small business v**e stores will be forced to close.

More than 10 million dollars in lost tax revenue (excise tax) from the closure of hundreds of small businesses in Georgia will be felt by all Georgia tax payers.

Gov. Ron DeSantis recently insisted that a PMTA registry bill undergo substantial amendments before passage. Now, instead of being a blanket ban on tens of thousands of va**ng products, Florida will only restrict sales of certain products after a thorough process that follows strict administrative law procedures. If Georgia passes this new law, Florida businesses will benefit, as it will become the go to source for cross-border sales and supplies for the newly formed multimillion-dollar illicit market.

If passed, in addition to creating a massive black market, it WILL create a Big To***co oligopoly. The economic/health impact will be huge. This takes away our freedom to choose less harmful alternatives to avoid smoking ci******es.
