As we wrap up National Volunteer Month, we want to thank the companies, students, and indivduals who have taken the time to make the world a little bit brighter. Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the month! EverBank, Operation Warm, FedEx Office, La La Land Kind Cafe, Credera, Park Place Motorcars Dallas, KPMG.
Grateful for incredible partnerships! 🤝 Yesterday, we teamed up with the amazing folks at Southwest Airlines for a heartwarming volunteer event. Together, we packed over 200 bags filled with snacks and goodies for our students! ✨ It's our fourth collaboration with Southwest, and each time is more meaningful than the last. Being able to share our mission and passion with their employee group, and then passing along their thoughtful notes and gifts to the kids, fills us with joy. This is what community is all about – coming together to make a difference. 🌟 Huge thanks to Southwest Airlines for their ongoing support and generosity! 🙌 #AllInForKids #CISDallas #CommunityPartnership #MakingADifference #GratitudeInAction

Brain Break.mp4
A few weeks ago, students at Jefferson Learning Center in Sherman were in the midst of a week of testing. Clinical coordinator Tiffany, Site coordinator Sierra, and the school nurse took a few students outside for a brain break in the midst of a busy, stressful day. They played in the leaves and really enjoyed being in the moment.
These high school students had the biggest smiles and enjoyed this little moment so much! It brought joy to them, but also to the adults working with them who loved seeing the happiness on their faces!
