Dr. Summer Rose sits down with NBC 5's Vince Sims to talk about the role of the Clinical Team at CIS Dallas and prioritizing Mental Health for our students. By offering services in schools, we remove the barrier to care that often prevents students from receiving care, missing classes to attend appointments, and fighting the stigma of getting mental health assistance. The highlight of Project Ops this week was a panel this morning featuring thought leaders in education and mental health, Bob Mong (Former President of UNT), Byron Sanders (President and CEO of Big Thought), and Dr. Jessica Gomez (Executive Director at Momentous Institute), moderated by the incomparable Lady Jade. From start to finish, they shared inspiring personal stories about mentors who impacted their education and life, and gave words of wisdom about moving forward in an ever-changing world. Our staff felt energized and encouraged by their thoughtful words and advice.
