Did you know that the knife and fork you see over our booths is actually wallpaper by Tracy Kendall Wallpaper? Our designer Alice Cottrell transformed the paper into art by mounting sections of the paper on boards, and hanging them on the wall.

All of the design elements you see at Local are courtesy of the amazing Alice Cottrell, of Alice Cottrell Interior Design. One of our favorite elements is the Rex Ray prints that you see at every booth. When we opened 15 years ago, artist Rex Ray was extremely popular and in high demand. Designer Alice Cottrell reached out to Rex and asked if he’d make custom pieces for Local, as most of his prints were really big, and to our delight, he agreed to do it! He even hosted a private dinner at Local shortly after. Thank you, Alice and Bentley Tibbs for making our restaurant look timeless and beautiful!
