Unpopular opinion! I know, I know!

But whats the point of forcing something on someone who has no real need or desire to do a certain movement in the gym.

That’s the reason for progressions and regressions anyway right?

I mean if you don’t want to BB Back Squat, why not BB Front Squat or heavy Goblet Squats?

If you don’t want to BB deadlift, why don’t we do Trapbar Deadlift or BB RDL?

Oh you hate BB Bench Press, why can’t we do DB Bench Press or a Weighted Push-Up?

They are basically the same movements? Maybe they don’t elicit the same exact response but is the body gonna do like, “no gains for you becasue you don’t want to use the Barebell” ?

NO!

So what’s the point of only doing certain movements?

SLED RACE🛷 One of our personal favorite finishers on a Friday and Saturday It’s simple: -grab a sled -1 person pushed sled as quickly as possible down 15 yards and back -next person goes -as many rounds as possible as a group within 5 minutes Grab a group of friends and try this one out! It’s a leg killer for sure🥵

LAST WEEK OF TESTING! Only two more tests and we are done with this program. Next week we are switching things up for the summer. Next up: PULL-UPS & 5RM SQUAT PULL-UP test will start tomorrow. We know some of you guys testing last week but for those who haven’t yet, get ready. We have some rules in place for the PULL-UP test on the board so be prepared to give us some perfect pull-ups! Last but not least, the 5 REP MAX SQUAT! We have been preparing months for this one, so come with your A Game on Friday/ Saturday so you can crush those Pr’s
