URGENT & IMPORTANT message to our KOSB guests and team:

During what continues to be a time of uncertainty, we are reaching out to provide an update on planning related to COVID-19.

We are actively preparing to minimize the potential impact of this health issue at all of our locations and have been meeting regularly to discuss our readiness for various contingencies, including how our teams can continue to operate should we have to alter our hours of operation.

We are carefully tracking information from the Centers for Disease Control, the Department of Health, and all local health officials. We remain in close contact with health professionals including Dr. Wendy Chung, Chief Epidemiologist for Dallas County Health and Human Services. We are also in regular contact with leaders of the restaurants and bar industry. Our team has participated in briefings and updates from leading organizations across DFW including U.T. Southwestern Medical Center, and Baylor Scott and White Health Systems, among others.

The health and safety of our guests, vendors, staff, and families is, of course, our top priority. While the total number of coronavirus cases in the U.S. grows, our local community has also been infected. Therefore, it is important for us to plan and prepare for every possible scenario. Currently, the key recommendations from public health agencies regarding prevention of the spread of respiratory viruses are as follows:

- Wash hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds, or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer
- Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick
- Cover coughs or sneezes
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects/surfaces
- Get a flu vaccine.

We strongly urge our team members and guests to stay home if you are showing any signs of respiratory illness or flu-like symptoms. In addition, please know our team is carefully monitoring any of these signs inside our buildings.

Knockout Sports Bar routinely takes the following proactive steps to keep our locations and amenities safe and clean:

- We place hand sanitizers and disinfectant wipes around the restaurants and other centralized locations.

- We perform a thorough nightly cleaning of every location.

- We regularly wipe down surfaces including doorknobs, light switches, tables, bar tops, point of sale screens and other frequently touched areas.

In addition, we perform and will continue to perform a deep cleaning of the entire store 3 times daily, a procedure we plan to repeat not only during spring break but throughout the entire spring season.

As you are aware, businesses and organizations around the country are curtailing and, in some cases, even restricting non-essential travel. At the same time, global travel restrictions are being continually updated as circumstances change in different parts of of the state and cities. Please monitor all State Department alerts and pay careful attention to CDC and WHO warnings about the risks of both domestic and international reports.
