This morning, our Webelos lead us on a hike at Putnam Park! What an adventure it was… learning about the Revolutionary War, taking a snack break, a slight injury and a snake sighting!

Last pack meeting of the school year for our Scouts in underway!

A scout is… helpful!

What a great turn out we had at our first community service project of the year! Our scouts were helpful, kind, courteous and full of smiles to all who visited our tent for coffee and goodies!

It would not have been as successful without our amazing parents… we appreciate you and can’t thank you enough!☺️

It was a great team effort made by all and we can’t wait for our next adventure!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers especially our Scout Moms! Our Pack would not be anywhere near as amazing if it weren’t for you!

Doing community service projects together is one way our Cub Scouts keep their promise “to help other people.” While a Scout should do his or her best to help other people every day, a group service project is a bigger way to help people.

We ended our last 2023 Pack meeting by coloring Christmas cards for the residents at Village Crest Nursing facility in New Milford!

We also had Guiding Eyes Dutchess Puppy Raising Region come demonstrate how they “bring puppies into their homes to teach them how to live with people and to enjoy learning the skills they need to take on a job that will change someone’s life.”

Some of our Scouts were blindfolded to experience what it’s like to be visually impaired to see why people might need these highly trained animals.
