The Ridgefield Fire Department helped build our playhouse for our children's therapy room. While they were at Ann's Place, they also helped build two shelving units so we can keep the toys organized.

We invite community organizations to our monthly meetings to talk about the services they provide within our community. Last month, we welcomed Shannon Cobb, President and CEO, and Uwa Osagie, Manager of Community Partnerships from Ann's Place.
Ann's Place is located in Danbury and is now providing services in Southbury. They provide over 25 different support groups and one-on-one counseling (both in-person and remote) free of charge to individuals, couples, and families living through cancer. For more information about client services, upcoming events, and volunteer opportunities, please visit annsplace.org

On June 18th, clients enjoyed a brightly festive Summer Solstice Flower Arranging class with Donna Soszynski, our Horticultural Therapist. Everyone expressed a creative and unique approach to their arrangement.
Donna shared a presentation about the language of flowers and different floral designs for inspiration. A fun filled afternoon of joy and relaxation celebrating the beginning of summer!

A big thank you to our wonderful volunteers from Belimo who dedicated their time and effort to clean up the gardens.

Your hard work has transformed them into a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy. We truly appreciate your support and commitment to our community!
