We stand with Glenn as he faces his toughest battle against Stage 4 Glioblastoma, a relentless and aggressive brain cancer. Diagnosed on May 2nd, Glenn continues to fight this disease with courage and determination, supported every step of the way by his loving family—his brothers, children, and ex-wife, who are by his side through every challenge.

Glenn’s strength and resilience inspire us all, reminding us to cherish every moment. Let’s keep him and his family in our thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult journey together. Your support means the world as Glenn continues his brave fight against this nasty disease.

Our hearts are heavy as we honor Traci, a beautiful soul taken too soon by cancer. Traci was the epitome of strength, selflessness, and love—always giving, always caring. She was a devoted mother, a cherished sister, a loving daughter, and a true friend to so many. Traci’s legacy lives on through her children, Thai and Addy, who will always carry her fierce spirit and unwavering love. We also want to recognize Traci’s incredible fiancé, Matt, who is now navigating life without her while raising their beautiful children, Thai and Addy. Matt’s love, dedication, and strength are a testament to the beautiful bond he shared with Traci. As he steps into this new chapter, let’s rally around him, honoring Traci’s memory by supporting Matt and their family with the love and strength that Traci showed us all.

In support of Traci’s family, some of the proceeds from this year’s golf tournament will go towards securing a bright future for Thai and Addy. Let’s come together to celebrate the incredible woman she was and support her family in her honor.

On May 30, 2024 this beautiful family received devastating news. Amy had been sick for weeks with what she thought was a virus, she started experiencing right side weakness along with neurological symptoms, and determined she needed to go to the hospital. Within hours of arriving at the hospital, Amy was given the devastating news that she had a mass in her head and a tumor in her stomach. Nothing could have prepared her or her family for this, but to make matters worse, after more scans and biopsies, she was subsequently diagnosed with stage 4, inoperable, esophageal cancer. Amy's beautiful daughter Heather Azzarito is a Designer Stylist at our Danbury location.

A Special Place in Our Hearts

Years ago, our salon was honored to be approached by Regional Hospice to help create a space where patients could receive hair and self care services with dignity and care. We proudly dedicated that space to my dear parents, Art and Liz Maestro, whose values of compassion and service inspire us every day.

Over the years, our salon company has donated over $50,000 to this incredible organization. Regional Hospice does more than just provide care—they offer comfort, hope, and healing during some of life’s most challenging moments.

Their Healing Hearts program is one of those initiatives. It provides crucial support during the bereavement process, and our family personally experienced their warmth and kindness when my brother-in-law, Carlos passed away. The program was a lifeline for my sister and her children, helping them navigate a deeply painful time.

This organization will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We are so proud to be a part of their mission and encourage anyone who can participate in their journey reach out and making a difference.

We are excited to announce the 15th Annual Golf Tournament and 38th Annual Charity Event hosted by Dawn's Pizzazz, taking place on September 9, 2024, at Oxford Greens.

This year, we are raising funds for the children of Traci and Matt Arconti, as well as the Dickinson and Tralli families, who are all facing the challenges of cancer. Your past support has been invaluable, and we hope you can join us again this year as a sponsor or participant.
