A new skill to add to my resume
A longtime customer's son broke her 60 year old bed at their summer house on the lake
She could only get a generic bed frame and wanted me to rebuild it
Was able to but only able to salvage and attach the headboard but the customer was happy and her son is off the hook for breaking it so that's all that matters

A little bathroom tune up
Replace old drawer slides with new soft close slides
Calk and seal numerous areas around tubs sinks shower and fill gaps and to seal from water leaking through and causing damage

Customer looking to sell house didn't want to rip siding off house just wanted to repair cracked and damaged areas so I did
Also they had some composite boards on their 25 year old deck that had become warped and bowed over the years
Customer says I have one piece of the original decking in the basement
But it is amazing the color difference after it was in their basement all those years and the deck boards being in the sun and weather the same amount of time
So I after some hunting down of present day boards that I thought matched I installed them and it looks pretty close

Previous carpenter cut and hacked in a window that wasn't the right size and left interior trim undone because they couldn't get everything to jive and work out I suspect
Fixed trim for customer so everything jived and worked out and he was happy after years of it being that way

Remove level out and replace sinking paver stones around customer's pool that had sunken and settled over the years

remove rebuild and replace rotted support for a customer while using existing trim from original column so now it works and you can't tell or notice a difference

Remove customer's old broken and poorly working original drawer slides and install new soft close drawer slides on drawers so they work and close smoothly

jack up deck remove old rusted post bases
re install new post bases and tighten up posts

remove old broken door ... pickup and install new one

customer was tired of paneling in room
wanted a change so decided to paint walls, trim, ceiling and doors
first removed furniture from room
painted walls, trim, doors and ceiling with numerous coats of stain blocking primer to keep paneling from bleeding through
cut in and paint ceiling
cut in and paint walls
paint all trim and doors in room in semi gloss
after seeing rooms color customer decided they wanted one wall a lighter color
tape off that wall cut in and paint new color
clean up room and return furniture to room

repair cracks and nail pops on kitchen ceiling
prime and seal water stain damage
cut in and paint ceiling
paint walls, ceiling, door and trim in hallway

fix damage to walls nail pops and water damage
seal and spot prime numerous water stains walls and ceiling
prime entire room with stain blocking primer
cut in and paint walls and ceiling

Remove broken 30 year old attic stairs for a customer
Cut back and rebuild opening the way it should have been years ago instead of just being hacked in as previous installer had done
Install stairs and bolt in
Install trim and finish

take the many boxes containing parts ... unpack ... pile and discard a large amount of packaging and assemble unit

remove old storm damaged fence
install new footings .... fence ... and stain fireside cherry

clean ... sand ... scrape and power wash decks, handrails and stairs
stain everything solid color padre brown stain
