As we close our production this afternoon, we’re thrilled to announce that due to overwhelming audience and student response, we will be producing Part Two next Fall (rights permitting).
Congrats to everyone involved on this monumental achievement, and stay tuned…the Great Work has truly just begun.

CSCU is a proud founding partner of the REP4 alliance, a coalition that puts the power and incentive of establishing new, equitable systems for public higher education in the hands of those who have the most at stake - learners. The REP4 alliance is a powerful network of regional and national education, industry, and technology leaders. The alliance works together to guide learners along their transformative journeys, provide expertise, test prototypes, and implement ideas. Working in diverse teams and coached by field experts and faculty members from REP4 Alliance colleges and universities across the country, learners transform their lives, their communities, and education itself.
This summer, Western Connecticut State University hosted the Summer 2023 Arts Technology Workshops, a regional summit funded by REP4. This two-day educational experience gave students the opportunity to learn cutting edge arts technology and open doors to new pathways in the arts. Over 40 high school students attended workshops in Music Production, Stop Motion Animation, and Theatre Stage & Sound Design, taught by WCSU faculty. Students came with varying levels of experience, and left with advanced skills and final projects, including fully produced songs, animated shorts and theatrical pieces.
Tech weekend is underway! Something Rotten opens one week from today. Click the link below to watch the trailer and purchase tickets!
