National Preparedness Month takes place this month, and it’s a time to spread the word and learn more about disasters that can occur at any place at any time. The Salvation Army has three steps to help you and your family get ready in case of natural disasters in your area.

LAST DAY!!!! We need more 🎒 🎒 🎒 🎒 🎒 🎒 🎒 🎒 🎒 and notebooks, glue sticks, and lined paper for our kiddos who need help with supplies.

If you are shopping at Walmart today, please donate a backpack to the Salvation Army bin at the entrance of the store in Danville until 6pm.

You can also make a monetary donation for school supplies Tuesday morning in person at The Salvation Army before 10am, or order from our online registry at Walmart. Choose 'The Salvation Army Danville Corps and it will be delivered to us directly.

Free Back-to-School Haircuts Just Part of Fun Sat Aug 5th at Danville’s Boys and Girls Club He says there will also be bounce houses, face painting, free food and refreshments, and a DJ.  And Hightower also says the goal is to provide 100 free haircuts, but they'd love to provide more.
