Class recommendation for graduating seniors : ANG 107- Genetics & Animal Breeding taught by Dr. Hao Cheng this fall!! This is a major requirement but it’s also really fun because you’ll get to simulate breeding for the best herd!! We recommend taking this class in the fall as you can retake it in the spring if anything happens and still be able to graduate in time. There are still many seats on Schedule Builder! Go go go!

Hey everyone! My name is Ashley Bidgoli and I’m currently a second year Animal Science major planning on specializing in Companion and Captive Animals. I’m originally from Los Angeles, California and one of my favorite things to do in the area is go to the beach with friends, hike, and try new acai bowl places. Some of the activities that I have been a part of are assisting with dairy goat behavioral research at the Animal Welfare Epidemiology lab and I’m currently interning at the Yolo County SPCA, which deals with applying low-stress, fear free handling in a veterinary environment. I hope to further study my passion for animal welfare, specifically with socially housed animals. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, going to concerts, reading, and thrifting. This is my first year advising and I couldn’t be more excited to be on campus. One of my top priorities as a peer advisor is to enable a safe environment for students and I also hope to create some awesome memories!
Heyy everyone! My name is Alex Luu, and I’m a third year Animal Science major with a specialization in Companion and Captive Animals. Aside from peer advising, I am an active volunteer at the Mercer Vet Clinic, the Knights Landing One Health Clinic, and the Wildlife Care Association of Sacramento. I am also an intern at the Yolo County SPCA. In my free time, I love playing indoor & beach volleyball, watching TV shows/movies, and exploring new places. My goal is to become a small animal veterinarian and to have a dog named “Pretzel.” As a peer advisor, I hope to provide you all with valuable resources and insightful advice to succeed. :) If you have any questions, please reach out!
I am a fourth year Animal Science Major with a specialization in Companion and Captive Animals. I'm also hoping to declare a minor in History soon. I'm starting my first year as a volunteer at the Knights Landing One Health Clinic. Also, I am the treasurer of Sigma Alpha, a Professional Agricultural Sorority on campus. I plan to attend veterinary school after graduating from UC Davis. I enjoy making crafts, spending time in the mountains, catching up on TV shows, getting boba and coffee and lounging with my dogs. As Peer Advisor, I hope to create a welcoming environment for peers navigating through their college career.
Happy first day of school, Aggies!! Since school has started, we just want to remind you guys that whenever you have any questions, feel free to contact ASAC and make appointments with the Staff Advisors or Peer Advisors. We are always here to help you!
