In my quest to clear my home, my mind & soul, I'm reminded of the truth to this statement. 💞🌎

A good thing to come out of this pause, this retreat from the rigors our busy daily routines....slow down and appreciate! 🥰

Perspective. I used to let petty annoyances set my mood. The mind is a powerful thing. My journey to wellness includes paying attention to my thoughts. Thoughts drive feelings which drive emotion - are my thoughts serving me or destroying me?

One thing I've found in the silence of paying attention to my thoughts is a new perspective.

My husband is gone right now and my kids are staying over at a friends so I can clean my disaster of a house. As I fold all their clothes I am thankful. Thankful that it reminds me that I have 'them'; my ❤ my 🌎. They will be back tomorrow. I pray. Tomorrow is not gauranteed. I'm glad I have these clothes and these messes because it means I still have them, and I am thankful.
