Recently went to George's (5216 North Dixie) for the first time.

The menu is HUGE, which is often a bad sign. When you're trying to do everything it's hard to do it all well. This place seems to be the exception to that rule. Our group ordered four very different things but everyone said they enjoyed their meal.

I later found out that the restaurant is a multi-year winner of Best of Dayton as Best Burger, Best Breakfast and Best Family Restaurant. Maybe I should start touring some of the other Best of Dayton eateries.

🌟 What a great time it was today to have so many visitors from around the country and literally around the world come visit us at George’s Family Restaurant today! 🌍 There were so many new faces here excited to witness the eclipse here in Dayton on Monday.

We now have new friends from all over Ohio and Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Asheville, NC, the state of Washington, Oregon, California - all over the United States! We even had visitors from the Congo, Singapore, Sydney Australia, and other points around the world! 🌏 It was so exciting to meet you all! 🎉 Thank you for visiting us here at George’s Family Restaurant!
