Dear Friends of The Bookstore @ Antiques Village,

We regret to inform you that The Bookstore @ Antiques Village will stop operations at Antiques Village on October 11, 2024.

The Bookstore has operated as a non-profit bookstore supporting Project READ and literacy in the Greater Dayton area for the past 11 years. Antiques Village has been honored to support Project READ as our official charity for the duration of their bookstore operation and we are saddened to discontinue that partnership.

Goodwill has purchased The Bookstore and will continue to provide a donation center and retail operations at their locations.

The Project READ donation center at 661 Lyons Rd will close on October 1, 2024. Customers who would like to make book donations may donate to any local Goodwill.

Thank you all for your support of The Bookstore and Project READ over the years and also to the many volunteers who made The Bookstore a success. Starting Friday, September 6, all books in The Bookstore will be marked down to $1.00 so come in and shop while they last!

Added some vintage cleaning items to my case yesterday. There are two JOY Dish Soap bottles (full size and trial size), a JOY coupon, a BON AMI powder container, a BON AMI soap cake, an AJAX cleanser sample size container (never opened), a BRILLO soap pad empty box, an S.O.S. scouring pad empty sample box and a red metal toy dust pan. These are located up front in showcase #21, on the right side. Antiques Village is open seven days a week, from 10 to 7.

Our Huge Comic Book Sale at Antiques Village officially kicks off today. Thanks to everyone who made it out to our sneak peak last night. The sale is located all the way to the back of the store. Walk down the Sixth Street Aisle and as you do you will walk pass our booths 6015 & 6020 and then turn right and we will be on your left. Hope to see you out there today!
