As some of you may know we had decided to homeschool our boys at the beginning of the year for a variety of reasons. We sat down as a family and discussed the pros and cons and ultimately we decided to go the home school route. Three weeks into the school year it was evident that the boys were missing something. So as we do we sat down and talked about it and we listen to our children and although our kids enjoyed homeschooling they said that they felt disconnected from their friends and social environment that they love so much at MAYA. Being a parent doesn’t always mean that you’re going to be right or wrong being a parent means you listen to your kids and together you decide what’s best. This week my kids started school at MAYA and they have been ecstatic ever since. Nothing gives me more pride and joy than knowing that they are happy. Blessed to be there mom. Hamdillah for everything.

Due to the court's decision, no one will be able to seek damages, reducing their protections against being forced to testify against themselves.

It also means that a law enforcement official won't be subject to potential financial losses in a civil action for failing to issue the warning.

However, it won't affect whether such evidence is excluded from a criminal trial.

It’s not easy to stay motivated until you achieved your objectives and dreams. Somewhere along your way, you will face roadblocks or barriers where you might get stuck. When this happen, you start to feel like you’re losing your motivation.

Here are 3 Things you can do to regain your motivation:

1️⃣ Refocus on doing what you really, really like to do — you can ask yourself this: Am I doing what I really want to do?

2️⃣ Make a list of all the benefits you'll get from achieving something — Again, you can ask yourself this: How will my life look in the next 5 years if I continue to stay on the same path as now?

3️⃣ Spend a few minutes to remember your success — take a few minutes before you start your day to look back to how far you've come, let it sink in and refuel your inspiration and motivation.

Success doesn’t just magically happen: it’s the final step in a long process of innovating and learning from failure. If it were simple, everyone would do it, and it would no longer be an accomplishment, but rather an expectation.

I’ve left a note before after waiting for a while lol. Who else is guilty of leaving a note?

One of the worst things you can do is hit a parked car and flee the scene. You could be charged with a hit-and-run if you leave the scene without waiting. Stick around and talk to the owner of the car, even if it appears that there isn't much damage. Many parking lots are monitored by video cameras that capture your license plate information, so if you abandon the parking lot accident, the owner is likely to track you down.

If no one shows after you've waited for a while, the next best thing you can do is leave a note. Include your name, address, phone number, and/or email address in your note. Leave no specific insurance information, but make sure the auto owner has a way to contact you. To keep your information from being blown away, secure the note under a windshield wiper blade.

What motivates me to do what I currently do are the 18,000 families whose lives had been flipped because of the New No-Fault Law Changes. Most of these families are dealing with the huge shortage in home care agencies after the fee schedule changes. Families are stuck putting their loved ones in a home against their will because it is the only option. My heart goes out to these families.

I do what I do because I’m determined to make a difference in the Personal Injury World, to serve those who were injured, to fight the insurance companies, and to help fix inefficiencies in health care.

In some states, a dog owner can only be held accountable for injuries caused by their dog if the owner had grounds to believe the dog would bite. The "One Bite" Rule generally meant that a dog may only have "one free bite" before the owner is held accountable.

Meanwhile, dog bite laws in Michigan fall under "strict liability," which means that if a dog bites and injures another person, the owner is held liable - whether or not it's the dog's first bite.
