Oh the things we do to appease arborists and neighbors when working on projects... When removing this section of driveway and re-pouring we were required to have an arborist on site and only use hand tools to take out the old concrete. It definitely adds cost to the project, but if it makes people happy...then let's do it. We really do want to be good neighbors on our projects.

Drove by the Airabella 137 acre site off Route 44 and Linger Longer Rd over the weekend and there is not much activity still after a Fall 2022 ground breaking ceremony. This would be a great amenity for the Lake Oconee community, but is getting some NIMBY push back for density and traffic. Let's keep an eye on this and see how it shakes out. Would love to see it come together.

Oconee Brewing to open taproom at new mixed-project by Lake Oconee | What Now Atlanta Oconee Brewing Co., based in Greensboro, Ga., will open a second taproom at a new mixed-use project by Lake Oconee.

It's always cool to see your old projects hit the market and see how they've held up over time. This home at 195 Laurel Ave was the first fix and flip we did on the West side in Mozley Park. We bought it in 2017 for $85k, renovated and sold it for $300k later that year. That owner solid it in 2021 for $375k and now it is on the market for $488k. Neighborhoods sure can change quickly and love to see Mozley Park thriving as it is. Good houses, good location, and great people in the community! Our new construction project overlooking East Lake Golf Club is nearing the finish line. Time for finishing exterior paint, paint touchups, wrap up landscaping details and get the new homeowner into their space.

This Oakhurst new construction home is getting interior doors and trim installed this week. Cabinets scheduled for next week. Permanent power to be connected to the house so we can fire up the HVAC system, condition the floors and start to finish them as well.

We don't do basements on flat lots very often, but when we do, it is important to bring in the pros! Did you know that they can equip this heavy equipment and the operators with GPS systems that help dig within inches of the planned dimensions. This is so important when building homes on tight city lots like this one in Decatur.

Prepping for final plumbing and lighting trimouts in the next few weeks. Sewer tap finally going in which will allow us to connect the home to sewer and install the landscaping - just in time for the TOUR Championship as you can see them parking the BMW Courtesy vehicles next door at East Lake Golf Club.

The mason's are wrapping up the brick veneer at this Brookhaven rambling ranch and it's looking great.
