This Friday! Back to school picnic at Clairemont, from 5:30 to 7:30. 🍕PTA will provide pizza and water!

2nd grade - individually wrapped, nut-free desserts

Football Is Here! 🏈
The first DHS home game of the season is Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. And there will be a special half-time Mascot Race. Which CSD school mascot has what it takes to bring home the winning hardware?  Come cheer for Claire the Bulldog! 🥇

Teacher assignments come out today (July 25th at 4 pm),and we know the excitement is building!
As we gear up, let's keep a few important rules in mind:

1. Feel free to reply under each teacher name "Roll Call" posts on this thread to find classmates! Just remember, these are not for reviewing or discussing teachers.

2. No comments disparaging certain teachers or classrooms.

3. Be kind, even if you disagree.

7/30 - First day of school! 🎉 Doors open at 8am

Clairemont Elementary’s meet and greet is on Friday, July 26! Last names A-L is from 1:00-2:00 and Last names M-Z is from 2:00-3:00. Come meet your teacher and stay for a popsicle social! 🎉

📌Important Location Update: Due to anticipated inclement weather this week, the Bash will now take place at the Decatur High School Gym at 310 N. McDonough St., Decatur, GA 30030.

⭐️ This Friday February 9th we will have our Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day! ⭐️ Please plan to ride your bike, scooter, walk or take the bus to school. The map below shows the meeting locations for the walk for anyone who wants to join us. The stars are the meeting locations (to meet at 7:40am). The two groups will then come together at the triangle and then walk the rest of the way to school together. See you there!
