The Comet Pub & Lanes is located in the former Suburban Lanes space, a 1950's era bowling alley that has served the Decatur and surrounding area for close to 60 years. Remodeled and renamed in early 2016, The Comet is set to bring back some of the glory of its original splendor, while adding a few of our own personal touches. We have 16 lanes up and running!
And we expect the other sixteen lanes to be going early next week! While we get things adjusted and work out some kinks, we are offering a great deal - 3 games for $1. You can get another 3 games when you finish your first 3 based on availability.
This introductory deal will be in affect thru 5 pm on Friday 9/20, so come on in and try our the new pinspotters.
Starting Tuesday 9/17, we'll open at noon Tuesday - Friday too, so swing by for lunch (serving pizza by the slice now!) and get a few games in.

Hey folks, we're getting close! Hope to have lanes 16 - 32 operating in next few days, fingers crossed. Stay tuned for that announcement. Once that happens, we'll start opening at noon Tuesdays - Fridays, and at 11 am on Saturday and Sunday.
In the meantime, come visit the gang after 5 pm for fun, food and drinks. On Tuesday we've got Rod sliding over from the bar to the DJ table!

Our Story
The Comet Pub & Lanes is located in the former Suburban Lanes space, a 1950's era bowling alley that has served the Decatur and surrounding area for close to 60 years. Remodeled and renamed in early 2016, The Comet has brought back some of the glory of its original splendor, while adding a few of our own personal touches.
Food and beverage service include from scratch pizza, burgers, sandwiches and apps, excellent cocktails, house made deserts and a 16 beer draught menu, as well as a host of bottled and canned beers.
In addition to the original 32 lanes of bowling, The Comet features a few arcade games, 3 dart lanes, and a large bar if you just want to hang out in a great space where folks are having fun, watch a game on the TV and enjoy the offerings from bar and kitchen.
