Some years we work over this hot holiday, but this year we’re relaxing and savoring the time with family and friends. ❤️

Reminiscing over my own wedding flowers as it comes up on my 4th wedding anniversary!

Most brides spend the day before their wedding enjoying brunch, getting a manicure or finalizing their vows. I spent it in the garage creating my bridal bouquet. (Swipe to see some iPhone pics from that day!➡️)

It was effortless and the most meditative, enjoyable way I could have possibly spent the day. Followed by a walk on the beach, quick rehersal and welcome party- amazing!

Do I recommend this is how everyone spends the day before their wedding? Definitely not! But if you can work in something that grants you a quiet moment doing something / spending time somewhere you love— HIGHLY recommend!

Our client wanted to pay tribute to their Irish heritage at their wedding reception, so we honored that wish by drawing inspiration from Ireland’s coast 🌊 We used blooms native to the misty island to encompass the look and feel of the country’s beautiful beach meadows and wildflowers 🇮🇪

These reception florals are striking in their own right, but we think the symbolism they hold makes them all the more beautiful!

People often say that my proposals are beautiful, and I’m so glad they are well received! But then I’m always like- 💭 If you like that, just imagine how good the real thing will be in 3D!?! 💭

Photos only get us so far and I’m no graphic designer, but working with flowers is what I’m trained (over 12+ years) to do! So while I’m so proud of the proposals I prepare for clients, a result of hours of careful thought and consideration, I’m 10x as thrilled and fulfilled when it all comes together IRL✨

In the spirit of Pantone declaring Peach Fuzz as 2024’s color of the year, here are some shots from a wedding that was ahead of the trend! C+D’s colorful pastel florals will forever be a favorite; look at all the variety in that bridal bouquet!! 😍

My favorite way to use peach is alongside other colors 🌈 It goes beautifully with lavender, blush, mauve, yellow, light blue, and greens. Having a range of colors can give so much dimension and keep the palette from looking too flat ✨
