Our Back to School Supply Drive is going strong, but we could still use your help! Last year we supplied 350 kids with school supplies, and this year we anticipate that number to be over 700! Last year our company started it's first ever backpack drive to help support our front life staff's kids and set them up for a successful school year. We provided over 350 kids in Texas, Florida and Georgia with backpacks full of school supplies, and this year we anticipate that number to grow to over 750! If you are able to donate, we appreciate all contributions (they are tax deductible through our non-profit, Sodalis 365). We take great joy in seeing their sweet faces light up with their new backpacks and supplies and to see the relief on their parents’ faces because it’s one less bill to worry about.💙

On June 6, 1944, over 160,000 Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy, France, marking a turning point in WWII. We honor their bravery today.

Moving & stretching is essential to our residents to keep them feeling their best. We incorporate exercise programs combining assisted living & memory care.

Our residents and families enjoyed our Sodalis Strawberry Festival last week. Petting the live chickens, eating the tasty barbeque dinner, and singing karaoke were big hits. The strawberry mascot even made an appearance. All had a good time!

Today is National Senior Health and Fitness Day! We recognize the importance of staying active and healthy as we age. There are many ways to get moving, from walking and dancing to swimming and yoga. Share your favorite way to stay active below! 😊

Memorial Day is a time to honor those who died while fighting in the U.S. Armed Forces. It’s a holiday steeped in somber American history and tradition. The day actually began as “Decoration Day,” following the Civil War, when mourners placed flowers on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers. Although in more recent years, Memorial Day has also come to signify the “unofficial” start of summer, let’s not forget the heroes who made it all possible.

On this Memorial Day, we honor the men & women who died while serving the United States. You will never be forgotten.

We had a great time today eating lunch at Pappa Yolk’s Grill! The staff was so friendly and the comfort food was so good! It gave our residents a chance to get to know each other better.

It was an honor to celebrate Mother’s Day with our ladies that sacrificed so much to raise their families. We were treated to bountiful finger sandwiches, yummy desserts and assorted teas. A highlight of the event was having our harpist, Laura Witt Smith play beautiful background music.

Wishing a Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms in our lives! Hope you have a day filled of relaxation and pampering ❤️

The heart of the healthcare sector is celebrated during National Nurse's Week. Often the first and last person a patient sees during a hospital visit, nurses are truly the rock stars! With over 3 million working nurses in the US today, nurses make up the highest percentage of the US healthcare workforce. They work across hospitals and communities to keep people worldwide happy and healthy, and National Nurses Week is the perfect opportunity to show your appreciation for their important work!
