Brassy to Bright! 💛👉🏽🤍 *swipe for before*

So many ladies come to me wanting “bright” blonde without leaving grey, silver or ashy. If you want a bright blonde three things you must know:

1. The hair must be lifted light enough to be a bright blonde, don’t pull foils too early and look for a pale yellow Iike the inside of a banana 🍌😅

2. Your toner must have some gold or warmth in it, which is different than “brassy” but it helps reflects light 💡 which keeps it bright.

3.Don’t over use purple shampoo…after pulling foils I’ve seen people shampoo with purple shampoo let it sit, tone, then hit it with purple shampoo again and the hair ends up super ashy or they tell clients to keep using purple shampoo at home too much…just don’t 😭😆

When you finish late at night and it happens to us! You want that good photo..you find some good spot lighting and get the shot!

Tips to night photos (outside only)

•find good lighting- in my space my lighting is slightly on the warmer side especially at night. So I find lighting that is more natural or doesn’t seem too warm like this potted light outside that’s more brite white light. Also ring lights are an option too but sometimes those can wash out the color. Soft light boxes are nice too.
•try a blank or aesthetically pleasing background…like this brick wall, a solid colored wall or a nice aesthetically pleasing background. Too much in the background can detract from the hair and be too busy.
•adjust camera settings to nighttime settings. This will help get a more clear true to tone photo.
•Move around- trying different angles the light is hitting can help too!
