Fireworks on Thursday will launch from the traditional location at the City’s Cherry Street property at about 10 pm. Viewing areas are along Henry Street, S. Sandusky Street and near OWU athletic practice fields.
Prior to fireworks, the Central Ohio Symphony will perform its outdoor concert on the Ohio Wesleyan campus at 7:30 pm. Outdoor seating will be on the Phillips Glen lawn.
The day’s activities get started with the annual parade, beginning at 11 am, and once again is sponsored by Citizens for the 4th. The route will follow from the fairgrounds main gate on Pennsylvania Avenue, to Sandusky Street, through the downtown to Wilmer Street to Henry Street.
A reminder that discharging display fireworks within the city limits is not permitted, unless done by a licensed exhibitor at a licensed public event. Most City offices are closed Thursday. Curbside collections will not take place. Thursday's route will be collected on Friday, and Friday's route will be collected on Saturday. Commercial collections are unchanged.

A successful week of drama camp wrapped up today with an outstanding performance of Annie Jr. With the support of the Delaware County Foundation special project fund, our drama team was able to extend this amazing summer opportunity to more than 80 students.

Update: Delaware County Department of Job and Family Services is no longer accepting applications for the school clothing voucher program. We have maximized the budgeted amount for our school clothing program. We are overjoyed that we were able to approve so many school clothing vouchers and be able to get much needed assistance out into our community!

Andrews House will be providing a limited number of grab-n-go sack lunches for kids beginning Friday, June 14th. Pick up is at 11:30 AM at Londontown Apartments (300 Chelsea St) from the Unity Community Center van. Lunches will then be handed out every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday through August 9th.
The lunches are for all children (18 and younger) and are available on a First Come, First Served basis. Supplemental weekend bags will also be available beginning Friday, June 21st.
