Delaware Community Concert Band

Come join your Delaware Community Concert Band! We would love to have you come check us out! We are currently preparing for our Veteran's Day and Holiday concerts! Come check us out, Thursday evenings, 7:00-9:00 pm at Dempsey Middle School.

The Delaware Community Concert band welcomes any musicians that have an interest in playing with our group. At this momentwe are especially seeking percussionists. If you or someone you know would like to join this fun group, please reach out to us with any questions you may have. We look forward to making new band friends!

Racing towards a great cause! Our band members are here pouring drinks and making memories during the Figure 8 races in the motoplex at the fair. Thanks to baritone Kay, Flute Diana, and Clarinet Linda for keeping the crowd happy!

The crew had a crazy busy day yesterday working both the Top of the Stretch Tent and the Taft tent for the Little Brown Jug. We had long lines until the final race started. Thanks to clarinets Beth, Deb, Steven, and Kathleen, Flute Diana, percussion Vicki, and groupie George for helping the band with ths fundraising effort!

It's always fun to watch the rough truck competition at the fair. The trumpet section came out to play this evening and keep the bar running smooth on another evening of fundraising for the band. Thank you Lori, Nancy, and Sharon for your help this evening!

The Wall That Heals brings Vietnam War memorial to Delaware County this fall The Wall That Heals, a three-quarter-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., comes to Delaware County this September.
