At our transitional housing community, Osceola Village, we go above and beyond to promote activities of daily living (ADL’s) in conjunction with our PHP and/or IOP programming. We are privileged to have BHT Supervisor “Chef Ed” on our team who not only supports our residents but also facilitates weekly culinary classes. Recently, the Osceola Village culinary lesson was our special version of surf and turf – blackened chicken, ribeye steak, sauteed shrimp, baked potatoes, and asparagus. Without a doubt, everyone enjoyed dinner that evening!😍
Last week, we had an ice cream and BBQ festival! Our staff orchestrated a team-building activity by creating a 50-foot ice cream sundae for our clients, fostering collaboration and bringing joy. Chef Ed showcased his grilling skills, and special thanks to Ted, Freeman, Robbie, and Danielle for their prep work. The event demonstrated the synergy between our teams and highlighted our commitment to bringing smiles to our clients' faces!
