Monster Pizza of Deltona

Monster Pizza lost its founder, our Dad, Danny, yesterday morning. He passed away peacefully and completely unexpectedly in his sleep. He was 63.

Many of our long-time customers will remember our Dad, particularly from the time we were at our old location on Doyle road (like in the photo above, circa 2008). His passing is why we closed yesterday. We love and will miss him very much.

He leaves behind our mother, my brother, sister and I, a beloved son-in-law, two grandchildren, four sisters, countless nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends, acquaintances and former employees whom he cherished.

For our friends (and anyone else who wants to try it!): The Mediterranean.

Vevan vegan mozzarella, Follow Your Heart vegan Feta, Kalamata olives, fresh baby spinach, minced garlic, grape tomatoes, and a sprinkle of oregano and basil.

Duke got out power back on!

We are officially reopened as of 6PM July 28th.

A special thank to Duke energy, and a big BOOOO to whoever took out the power lines. Haha!

In case you are wondering why we are closed : (

None of my people saw it, but apparently, someone in some sort of tall vehicle (tractor trailer?) drove through the power and cable lines, ripped them out, snapped the pole, and dragged them up Deltona Blvd.

The fire department had to pull the lines out of the road. Duke is on the scene. Current restoration estimate is quite late in the day. We will keep you updated in case we can reopen.

Some highlights from today! A Greek Odyssey and a custom large pizza: half provolone, half mozzarella and pepperoni.

Don't make the holidays a chore! Focus on family and fun. Let us do the heavy lifting in the kitchen.

Monster Pizza is offering dinner trays for the holidays: baked ziti, chicken parmesan, salads, and knots.

Deltona is closing our street for the Annual Holiday Parade beginning at 3:30 PM today, the 10th.

We will remain open our normal hours to serve parade attendees, but will be unable to offer our normal delivery or pickup service once the street fully closes.

The city hasn't given us a solid timeline, so we are playing it by ear. Feel free to message us here with any questions! Thanks : )

WE FINALLY GOT POWER BACK!

We are currently cleaning, re-stocking, and prepping the store re-open Monday at our normal time of 11AM.

We unfortunately still have no power, but are optimistic that we should have it by tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed!

Good morning, pizza lovers. Still no power here at Monster Pizza.

If it were to turn on right now, we might be able to get everything prepped and ready for dinner. But I wouldn't hold my breath. We will post an update later today.

We are currently closed. We hope to open tomorrow (Friday) pending restoration of power and other factors. Stay tuned for updates.

We're watching the storm to figure out if/when we need to close. In the meantime...

Are phones and internet are down. We were able to schedule delivery of all the orders that got through before the outage. We'll update you on any further developments.

Our plaza in the surrounding area are currently experiencing a power outage. For the time being we cannot take any orders. We'll keep you posted!

We'd like to apologize and thank everyone for their patience with us today. We experienced a breakdown of our delivery system for about 2 hours. We know no one wants to cook today, so we are deeply upset at the timing of this. But everything's up and running again and we are playing catch up as fast as we can.

Hello All!

Our power, internet, and phones are flashing in and out due to this storm. Please bear with us, and stay indoors!

In light of the CDC's new guidelines for vaccinated people, we have adjusted our mask policies.

1.) All customers who are fully vaccinated are welcome to enter our lobby without a mask. Customers who are not fully vaccinated are still required to wear a mask.

WE WILL NOT REQUEST PROOF OF VACCINATION. NOR WILL WE ASK YOUR STATUS

Our rules are posted on the door. We have faith you all will respect our establishment enough to follow them yourselves.

2.) All employees who show proof of full vaccination may work without a mask, including to make deliveries.

3.) We are still only allowing one person or party into the lobby at a time.

Our staff is almost entirely vaccinated. Once we reach that milestone, we may actually remove the barriers in our lobby, which is a very exciting prospect! Haha!
