On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress approved the design of a national flag. In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson signed the law that proclaimed June 14 each year to be celebrated as the national holiday of Flag Day. Every year since 1916, this day has been a day of patriotic celebration.

May our red, white, and blue always fly high and be respected 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I saw this analogy and it made so much sense, so I’m sharing it with you 😊

A bottle of water at Costco is $0.25.

The same bottle in the supermarket is worth about $0.50.

The same bottle in a bar costs $2.

In a good restaurant or hotel it can be worth up to $3.

At an airport or on the plane, you may be charged $5.

The bottle and the brand is the same, the only thing that changes is the place. Each place gives a different value to the same product.

When you feel like you are worth nothing and everyone around you belittles you, change places, do not stay there.

Have the courage to change places and go to a place where you are given the value you deserve. Surround yourself with people who really appreciate your worth.

• ‼️ $9 for 2 hours of cleaning sounding "too good to be true"?? It's probably because it is.‼️
I've had a couple of people reach out to me about seeing this all over FB and TV... with a little research I was able to find out that it is a SUBSCRIPTION for $49 a month, and they will charge you a cancellation fee of over $200 if you want to cancel within the first 6 months. They send different cleaners and will add on "service fee" charges. I even came across a FB group made specifically about disputes with this company.
- Things like this definitely make it hard for business owners in the cleaning world because let's face it, I personally cannot compete with $9 for 2 hours of cleaning! ‼️ PLEASE do your research. Get to know your cleaners, ask for references, check out reviews and go over their company pages!
Having someone come into your home is stressful enough, but making sure they are taking the proper steps, and are running a legitimate business without a ton of hidden fees can be worth that extra cost of hiring trustworthy help for you and your family! 🏡

Every year on the first Sunday in May, this year it's May 5th, International Bereaved Mother's Day honors mothers who have lost a child. It's also a day to recognize women who cannot be a mother due to infertility or other health reasons.

Sunday is the perfect time to do a refresh and a reset of your home before a new week starts! I love making sure our house is cleaned and organized so come Monday morning we aren’t feeling out of sorts, rushed or disorganized.

Here is a few things that is on my reset list for Sundays:
- give the house a good clean
- finish up any laundry and put folded clothes away
- restock our snack cupboard
- make sure our weekly calendar is updated so we know what we have going on this week
- preset the coffee machine for the morning
- time outside with the family
- meal prep for the week

Having a tidy home and an organized weekly schedule really sets our family up for a positive week. It keeps our house calm even if the week turns into chaos! What are some ways you refresh/reset on Sundays?!
