I caught Pumpkin on our stove, AGAIN, (I still don’t know how she’s getting up there!) and before I got her down I realized this may well be the last time I catch her on my stove- (since she’s going to her new home tomorrow…) She was always a handful, but saying goodbye to her is definitely gonna be bittersweet. She’s a crazy girl, but I love her. Best wishes to Pumpkin, Rusty, and their new family!

Born 04/09/2023, this easter surprise was a big one! Five of the original six kits are still with us and thriving, and three are still not claimed and are 👀🏠. All are female except for good 'ol Darrell, and all will be 8 weeks on June 3rd, 2023.
Including photos from a few days old to a few days ago, plus their lovely parents!

Meet Thumps, his sister Flopsy, and his lover Oatmeal, the three rabbits that hopped into our lives January 2023 and changed it forever, the pioneers responsible for the Gonzo Acres Rabbitry journey.

Thumps is a lionhead/lop mix, our only adult male and a very adventurous little guy! He is the father of our current litter, and is definitely King of the Kitchen. Born Oct 2022
Flopsy is Thumps’ sister, even if she doesn’t look like it! Also a lionhead/lop mix, Flopsy got the lop ears her brother missed out on, but she’s still super cute to us!! (👀🏠) Has done a great job as aunt to Thumps’ & Oatmeal’s last litter. Already bonded with Oatmeal! Born Oct 2022
Oatmeal is our only rabbit with no lionhead in her, and she’s a big girl! She is mommy to 5 beautiful kits, fathered by Thumps, and has done great for a first timer. She is already bonded with Flopsy! (👀🏠) Born Sept 2022

Hello and welcome to Gonzo Acres! We are a small, family-run rabbitry and homestead, currently residing in Denton, Texas. Here we are determined to not only breed and provide the best quality rabbits for you, but ALSO make sure those rabbits have and go on to have the best quality possible life as well.
Started by Kaitlyn and Mason Gonzales, we love each rabbit as much as we love each other, meaning we put the animal BEFORE the profit. We make it our mission to not just find homes for these adorable rascals, but to make sure those homes are quality, and will provide a healthy and full life for each of our babies.
Currently there are some lionlop kits 👀🏠, and I think I might’ve heard a rumor about netherland dwarfs in the future🤫
