Hi everyone! I am Grace, and I am 4 years old (approximately). I was rescued by a kind person who saved me from euthanasia by my original owner because I was pregnant. I was rescued by a wonderful woman and gave her 8 puppies. All of my babies went to great homes, but no one wanted me. Everyone tells me I am cute – I LOVE to snuggle, and kissing is “my game”. I will follow you everywhere and love to talk often! Some say that is a sign of my intelligence. I am potty trained crate trained and walk great on a leash! So, what is the problem?
I am current on shots and will come with a voucher to have me spayed immediately. There is a small rehoming fee. My bed, crate and toys will come with me. Do you have room in your home and heart for me? If so, please contact [email protected]

This is Neferkiti, her nickname is Nefi. She is approximately 1-1/2 yrs. Old and is fully vetted. Meaning, she has been spayed and is current on shots. When she turned a year old, she started losing weight and acting lethargic. We took her to the vet’s office and found that she has Diabetes.
Despite her diagnosis, she is an absolute angel kitty. She loves us and our baby. Another thing she loves is finding an open lap to sit in so she can cuddle. She is an absolute purr machine. Our decision to rehome her has been a very difficult one. She is greatly improving with her insulin injections once a day. We are looking for a family that will have the time and financial situation to adopt her and see that she gets the medications she needs. This beautiful muted calico doll has such a calming effect for anyone she meets. If you believe you could love this sweet girl, please contact [email protected].
Hi, my name is Cappuccino! I'm a 1-1/2 year-old female husky. I'm the leader and awesome mother of a pack of Husky puppies. When they wrote the characteristics for "typical husky", they were writing about me. I love babies, toddlers, older kids, adults, everyone. If a baby comes up to me, I roll over on my back and give them my belly. I’m good with other dogs and it is believed I may also be good with cats. I want to be around you all the time and when I'm not, you'll never have to guess where I am because I'll be close by, conversing with you. I have a sensitive stomach, so I don't have the luxury of eating whatever I want, but I'll try to talk you into giving me some of your lunch anyways. I am extremely smart and do better with a yard to run in and stimulating games to tire me out. At the end of the day, I like to climb into bed with you and dream together. If you're looking for a young, friendly, sassy husky mother, then I'm your gal! My babies all got adopted into wonderful homes – I want that too.
I am spayed and current on all shots, including worming and micro-chipped! I must be an inside dog only so I will be assured of being part of the family. If you would like to meet me, please contact [email protected].
Dobby
This beautiful boy is named Dobby. We are listing him for adoption now. He will be fully vetted, including a microchip.
Dobby was found in a person’s hot garage. He was so tiny that they almost missed seeing him run for a hiding spot. They took him in and fed him and set up a nice area to recuperate in. Due to their cat aggressive dogs, they turned him over to one of our DHS fosters. His fosters said he is so sweet. He likes crawling into the lap of his fosters as well as visitors they have over. We are hoping he grows into those big ears in the future. If not, they are so adorable and just add character to his appearance. His adoption fee is $100.00, and he is to be kept as an “inside only” cat and never de-clawed. If you have room for a playful kitten who loves to snuggle, please contact [email protected].

My name is Mickey, and I am an adorable little male puppy! I am maybe a Lab, Boxer, Heeler, Pit Bull mix. Daddy was a traveling man! I am up for adoption to an awesome home where I will be spoiled! Okay, I am already spoiled – just need someone to keep it up! I personally love kisses and being held. I come from a litter of 10 so I love other dogs and do fine with cats. I love kids as my foster mom has kids and grandchildren, and they love me.
My adoption fee is 100.00 and will cover spay/neuter, worming, 3 sets of shots (vaccinations) which will include a Rabies shot and micro-chip. So, the big question is – do you have room for me in your home and in your heart? If so, please send all inquiries to [email protected]

My name is Batman, and I am one adorable male pup! I am a cross between a Pitbull and a Heeler. I really had a rough beginning as my mom was found abandoned when the neighbors moved out. My foster mom took her in and fell in love. She gave mom a really big gift too – 10 pups! When we were 4 weeks old, a service repair man left the back gate open and when mom went out to potty, she got out and was hit by a car. She had emergency surgery but did not make it. Our foster mom and her children and grandchildren help love us and play with us a lot. I personally love kisses and being held and being around my littermates (8 – one has been adopted) to play. I am so young that I believe I would love all dogs and possibly cats as well. I have been vaccinated and neutered.
My adoption fee is 100.00 and will cover spay/neuter, worming, 3 sets of shots (vaccinations) which will include a Rabies shot and micro-chip. So, the big question is – do you have room for me in your home and in your heart? If so, please send all inquiries to [email protected].

A sweet, loving, pregnant female dog was left abandoned in a backyard when her prior family moved. A neighboring family rescued her and fell in love with her immediately. Noticing her tummy seemed swollen, they took her to a veterinarian, fearing she might have a tumor. The diagnosis - no tumors but lots of puppies! She later delivered 10 healthy, adorable puppies. Then, sadly, a repairman accidentally left the gate open, and the mama dog ventured outside the yard when let out to potty. Tragically, she was struck by a car and did not survive the surgery needed. We are now helping the family with food, vaccinations, spay/neuter when old enough, and then finding good homes for the ten puppies. They are now about 5 weeks old without their mother. Yes, this will take a lot of funding, but don’t you think they need and deserve our help?

A couple is fostering 2 cats rescued from a hoarding situation. The cats had been locked inside a house without food or water for days. Brenda, the female fur baby, was found hiding in an oven. The cats are adjusting well, but Brenda has two serious medical issues that must be addressed. She has two teeth that must be extracted and a nasopharyngeal polyp that must be removed. Don’t you think Brenda needs and deserves a good home? But first, she must be healthy - she needs our help for an expensive surgery to address her medical issues.

TCAP will offer FREE sterilizations & rabies vaccines for feral/community cats on Wednesday, July 31. This event is held at six TCAP clinics: Allen, Arlington, Burleson, Denton, Garland & Ft Worth.
This is our biggest event yet and we want to make a huge impact. 450 cats will be accepted across six locations!
TCAP supports the Feral and Community Cat caregiver community. This is our way of giving back. We recognize the important role trap, neuter, and return (TNR) plays in animal advocacy across North Texas. There is no limit on the number of cats per caregiver and no appointment is required! We will accept the first 75 cats presented at each location. Cats must be presented in a live trap or pet carrier. All cats will receive an ear tip. Ear-tipped cats are treated as feral when seen by a veterinarian for future care and will require sedation.
Notes: Additional fees (such as in-heat, crypt, or pregnancy), will be covered by TCAP. Caretakers will be responsible for additional services they elect at the time of service: additional vaccinations, pain medications, viral testing, etc. Cats must be presented in either live traps or pet carriers.
This event is made possible by a generous grant from MuttNation: https://muttnation.com/

COURTESY POST:
I am trying to find a home for 2 cats that are my cousins as she was put into hospice care this week. The cats are at her parents' home and they are elderly and unable to care for them. I would take them in, however I have a very aggressive cat that does not get along with other pets.
They are very sweet cats with great dispositions. The male cat, Bubba, is the tabby cat, and he is 12 years old. Iris, is the black cat and she is 7 years old. I do not know about their medical records (shots, etc) but I do know they have claws. They are currently located in Richardson, but I will transport to their new home.

THREE PUPPIES
This is a rather unusual situation. It seems that a couple of weeks before the 9 month old mama dog’s spay surgery, she got out. The result of her little venture was 12 puppies. She is a 60 pound pure bred solid black German Shepherd and the dad is 50 pound Gray, Black, Brown and White Australian Shepard. They have all been placed in loving homes but these 3 and the owner is desperate to find loving homes for these last little ones. They are 11 weeks old now (July 5, 2023) and are absolutely adorable. There are 2 males and 1 female. They have very sweet temperaments with no medical or behavioral issues. They have not been spayed yet, but Denton Humane Society has offered free vouchers for these 3 babies to be spayed and neutered. They have all been wormed twice and had their DHPP vaccinations twice. No rabies shots yet or heartworm prevention yet.
They do well with other dogs as well as children. If you can provide a loving environment for one of these little puppies, please contact [email protected].
Sweet Darla (a rescuer's story)
I have been the President of Denton Humane Society for a few years now. It is very rewarding, but very difficult too. Due to the fact that I currently have 10 cats – I no longer foster! I have stuck by this for a few years, but something happened that I am still unsure about. I received a call from someone who found a tiny kitten under a shrub by their apartment complex. She was crying for help from anyone. This college student brought her in and took her to a vet as she was so tiny and frail. The vet said she had CH (neurological condition) and that she may never walk straight, but that looked like all it would be. The young woman put out a plea for someone to take her and surprisingly to me – I answered it.
When I met them to pick her up, I was amazed at how tiny and frail she looked. She could not stand on her own and was limp. I rushed her to my vet where we found she only weighed ½ a pound and was malnourished and dehydrated. They gave her an IV to rehydrate her and I took her home and spent 5 days feeding her every 2 to 3 hours and syringing water down her to keep her hydrated. I took her out to see flowers, meet my other cats, cleaned her up constantly as she was incontinent and just loved her. She got so many kisses that I am surprised I did not kiss the fur right off that tiny head. She got her favorite pate food and her bed was made with the softest blankets ever! She was rarely left alone in her kitten pen – when I was busy, my husband held her and talked to her. At other times, I would bundle her up and go wherever! She was my little sidekick!
Could you grow to love a little tiny fighter in a day? I did. My time was running out as I had surgery scheduled 5 days away. A friend picked her up the day before my surgery to take care of her while I had the procedure. When she picked her up, I asked her to assess my little Darla. She said she would run her by her vet’s office to do that. She could not stand, was incontinent and I suspected she was blind. Numerous neurological problems were found, and it was determined that her life would be painful and void of any normalcy. I knew when I kissed her tiny head goodbye and my friend took her to the vet, that it might be my last time. It was. Darla was only 5 weeks old but will now never be forgotten – someone knew she lived and now misses her. Now that you have read this, you too know she lived. It was short but touched all who met her. It is just so important to me that every life counts. It means something, and I believe hers did too. Thank you for reading this story about my precious kitten.
HELP! WE NEED SOMEBODY. HELP! NOT JUST ANYBODY!
Our momma was feral and had us under a shed in the dirt. She was trapped, spayed and brought back to people who would feed her. But us? We were trapped in a shed, only 5 weeks old and terrified!! We have since found love, plenty of food, toys and a soft bed to nap on. BUT the house is getting crowded; a couple of the big kitties smack us, and we've just gotta find indoor home(s) of our own. My brothers are little black panthers, as am I, we are "fixed", had our shots, microchipped and tested (Max). I know there are so many kitties that are looking for homes but maybe, just maybe, you will take a chance on my brothers and me??? A lifetime of love for $75.00 (me and my brother Marvel are good friends too) and can be adopted together for $100. If you are over 25, have no small children and never declaw us, contact our rescuer at [email protected] for an adoption application.
Please hurry; we really want a family of our own.
