We are going to be vending for this event! I hope you all can attend. It's a lot of fun
The weekend of May 10th through 12th, I was vending a convention downtown and had a helper .
Whoever the humans are that came and weren't let in I really apologize. We keep the door locked for the safety of myself and our employees. We oftentimes are one person and I feel better letting people in and it keeps the riff Raff out.
I also want to let you know that I don't tolerate even my helpers not giving their best with customer service and hospitality when I am not present.
Acknowledging that a person didn't see the sign that says "ring the doorbell I will let you in." And not trying to get their attention isn't acceptable for me. And for that, I hope you come back. And we will make it right. You take a lot of time and effort to come visit my store. And I want to make sure that you're well taken care of and your needs are met.
Thank you for coming to visit us and I'm sorry they didn't open the door. I hope to see you again soon.

Hi everybody, I just wanted to let you know that I am going to be opening late tomorrow. 02/03/2024. Thank you for understanding. I appreciate you all.
*xualwellness
We are saddened and sorry about The passing of Jim Baker the owner of Park pleasures on Colfax. Jim was a very good guy and very supportive of us getting started. He did a lot for us in the beginning and we are very thankful to have known him.
As some of you may know, it is not easy owning an adult business. A lot of responsibility and city and state headaches come with the territory. It's one of those businesses that isn't for the faint-hearted. Nor is it easy to get into or keep going. The people that choose to do this business are warriors for s*x education and making sure that the public is aware of how important it is for intimacy, and no matter what your kink is, you'll find your match.
We all work hard to create environments that cater to the brave that choose to come in and engage in their fantasies to the novice that's never been into a space like that that is nervous yet wanting to find themselves. We all play a big part and have a responsibility to create a safe and healthy environment for anybody to come into.
It's important to support small business. A lot of blood , sweat and tears goes into starting a business like this. It's important to come in and support the people that run these businesses. You're the ones that are putting food on our tables, assisting us and creating vision of health and wellness for the communities. And we all do a little happy dance when you buy something from us. It's not easy for any of us especially us that are small business to keep going.
I know that Jim tried his damnedest to keep that place afloat. He believed in it with his whole heart and he worked himself to the bone to keep it. It came with a huge backstory of a mess and all he did was try to clean it up. He wanted to bring something new and different. I knew that he was struggling because you'd never owned a retail business before. I wish I could have helped more. Godspeed to you good sir. Thank you so much for all that you've done for us.
We appreciate you more than you'll ever know.
Our thoughts are with you and your family and the park pleasure staff.
Sincerely,
The Scarlet Letter Boutique.
,
Sorry everyone, due to the weather we are closed today. My helper can't get down from the mountains. thanks for understanding.
Sorry everybody, our storefront is closed today due to the weather. My helper can't come in because of the snow. I am in Colorado springs working curiosityCon this weekend. So if you're in springs come and say hi. Be safe out there everybody she should be in tomorrow. Thanks
Hey everybody, I'm going to be closed from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. today. I have to go take care of a family matter. I'll be open from noon to 3:30 p.m. and then back from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. today. Thanks so much for understanding. And Happy New Year.
I don't usually post things like this, but I think it's very important to help each other in the community. Especially if we're in the same business. Just go find me as for a friend of mine who had a ton of business stuff stolen from them. I started out as a vendor. And I still vend to make ends meet for my storefront. I / we take a huge risk every time we go out of theft. In fact I had stuff stolen for me last year vending including my cash box. And it's a very painful thing. This is our livelihood. This is how we eat, have roofs over our heads, create community space, and keep things bare-boned local. I know it's the end of the year and we're all recovering from the holidays. But if any of you can help. That would be wonderful! Thanks so much.

Wishing you all a magical holiday season! Thanks for supporting us this first year and first holiday season. It means the world to us. Cheers to 2024!
Open today !
Noon to 5:30 p.m.
Happy holiday everybody I hope you're safe warm and well fed.
Calling all friends who are self-employed/run their own business, or want to support small businesses! It's interesting to see the variety in our extended circles. 🎁
Post a link to your pages, websites, drop pictures, DO IT ALL. Sometimes a link isn't enough! Small businesses are already limited on these platforms. Let's not perpetuate that! 🌀
Copy this text onto your own page and give others the chance to reach more people through your circle. Visibility is everything! Especially with the holidays coming! Let’s help each other out! ✨
You can't pick your bio family. Not everybody has a great family. Remember that chosen family is just as important as biofamily. Be kind to yourselves this holiday season and be kind to others as well. We don't know what someone is going through. I hope you're all having a good holiday season. Hugs.
Today from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Come see myself in a couple of local vendors at Scarlet Letter Boutique 110 Knox Court Denver Colorado 80219.
To the three humans that stop by in the afternoon. I am so sorry I missed you I hope you come back. I marked my time as special hours for the state and googled it and put me down as closed and I didn't see that. I saw you on ring and I'm sorry.
We are going to be closed from noon to 6:30 p.m. to vend this event. If you don't have anything to do during the day! Come and see us. This is a lot of fun.
Shop small and support small businesses especially small media outlets. Happy holidays everybody

**Event Announcement for December 17th Fundraiser: Join SlutwalkDenver for a Cause!**
**Who Are We?**
Slutwalk Denver stands as an annual rally, march, and platform amplifying a crucial belief: r**e and s*xual violence are never the fault of the victim. We emphasize that no one invites or deserves assault. Our mission? To end s*xual violence in our community and foster an empowering support network for survivors.
**Why Slutwalk?**
With statistics revealing that 1 in 4 women in Colorado experiences attempted or completed s*xual assault, the urgency is clear. Shockingly, an estimated 60% of r**es go unreported, and an overwhelming 97% of rapists escape legal consequences. This movement is vital because society and media often unjustly hold victims responsible for the crimes committed against them, perpetuating victim-blaming myths.
**A Legacy of Defiance**
This movement sparked in 2011 when a Toronto police officer's victim-blaming advice triggered an uproar. Over 3,000 individuals flooded the streets in protest, denouncing the notion that victims are to blame for violent crimes. Slutwalk has since become a global phenomenon, hosting annual events in numerous cities worldwide. Our commitment remains unwavering: to build a community that supports survivors and allies and eradicates victim-blaming.
**Honoring December 17th: International Day to End Violence Against S*x Workers**
This significant day, initially a memorial and vigil for victims of the Green River Killer, has evolved into an international event. It serves as a poignant reminder of the social stigma, discrimination, and criminalization of s*x work that contribute to violence against s*x workers. Join us as we observe this day alongside s*x workers, advocates, families, friends, and allies. Together, we raise awareness and confront these issues head-on.
