We’re also running a care bag drive this month to show love to the refugee community. Help us gather cozy slippers, potted plants and shelf stable food.

This summer, we embarked on a new journey hosting our . It's been a whirlwind of creativity, with makers, chefs, and artisans uniting to bring a taste of diverse cultures right into our own backyard.⁠

As we bid farewell to the summer season, we want to make our last Backyard Bazaar one to remember. Please join us this Wednesday (9/27) from 5 p.m. till dusk for a grand celebration of all things LOCAL. ⁠ We've gone around the world and now we're bringing the celebrations home!⁠

We're hosting a community SHRED EVENT & VEGETABLE SWAP, so bring your papers to be shredded and abundance from your gardens to the event on Wednesday. We will also welcome neighborhood soul band led by Dan Sidor, called Atomic Jones.⁠

The husband and wife team started Bibamba to celebrate a collaboration between their two cultures, African and American.

The journey begins in the heart of Cameroon, where the Cacao is sourced, and is continued in the vibrant creation hub of Denver. Each piece tells a tale of dedication and craft while celebrating where we come from.

This chocolate is certified non-GMO, 100% plant-based
dairy, gluten, soy-free, and absolutely delicious.

You can catch the Bibamba team at our next on August 28th (5pm - dusk) where we'll be celebrating African Culture.⁠. And a fun fact, we were the first store Bibamba sold their product in Denver.

Our next is coming up. This month we'll be celebrating African culture with vendors, art, music, and a special African meal.

In honor of this event, we launched an African food drive to send a culinary welcome to arriving refugee families. We're seeing an increase in the number of families resettling in Colorado from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, and Central African Republic. We could use your help to welcome them with culturally specific food. You can drop off your donations at our shop or across the street at anytime in August.⁠

We'll be hosting a collective of talented chefs to bring you a sampling of the flavors of the Middle East. There will be a buffet featuring an incredible spread by Sara and her team at My Plate:
Chicken Shawarma, Rice, Hummus, Grape Leaves, and more. We're asking for a $10 donation per plate where all proceeds go to the chefs 👩🏼‍🍳 ⁠

Shop Small & Spicy tomorrow, Friends!

We’re bringing back our global spice blends for the holidays and their debut is tomorrow.

We originally developed these blends as a way to celebrate the cultures that have settled in Colorado. We’re proud to live and work in a space that welcomes diversity. Each year we add a new blend directly from our vendors and their favorite/family recipes.
