I am thrilled to share that I’ve been selected as a 2024 Colorado LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce: 40 under 40 Business Leaders!

Through this award, the chamber recognizes and celebrates chamber members who are also community innovators. To be recognized, one has to be nominated for making a difference within and for the LGBTQ business community.

Honestly, I didn't expect to be nominated. One of my friends just said she had done it. I am incredibly grateful for this recognition and proud of our work at my business FactorX. Thank you for your support and for making me feel like what I do matters!

Announcing ~$1 million in Grants to Strengthen and Advance Equity in Local News — Colorado Media Project Today Colorado Media Project is announcing 25 new grants totaling $957,150 that will support Colorado newsrooms, journalists, and media entrepreneurs in launching new projects and strengthening existing efforts to serve communities across the state. These awards also kick off Colorado Media Project

As March comes to a close, we want to celebrate the launch of UndocuHelp.com for our clients at UndocuHub. UndocuHelp.com is a fully bilingual website dedicated to compiling resources for Coloradans regardless of immigration status. UndocuHub is a program launched by the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition - CIRC, Immigrant Services Program at MSU Denver, and the Denver Children's Advocacy Center in 2020. The goal of UndocuHub is to connect undocumented community members with vital resources, and the new website will be central to this goal.

This year, we are thankful for having been able to work with amazing people, doing incredible work with the following non-profit organizations:

- Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights (COLOR);
- COLOR Action Fund;

Today we drafted 140 different social media posts (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), and edited 68 images for COLOR Action Fund. They have been working tirelessly to elect Reproductive Justice Champions up and down the ballot. Crossing our fingers for a good outcome!

During Day of the Dead, or Día de Mu***os, October 31 through November 2, families gather together to remember and honor their deceased loved ones. A sacred, joyous time, Day of the Dead traditions include food and flowers, visits with family members, prayers, and stories about those who have died. We also want to invite you all exercise your power of voting during this election. If you can't vote, and still have opinions as to the direction of this country, talk to your family members and friends, maybe even include elections discussions in your Day of the Dead and Halloween celebrations.
